You are right but this is just a demo video and basically Quick Check is designed to verify various instruments at shop floor by user itself to avoid measurement errors due to faulty instruments, as well as to build user's measurement and inspection skills....

Actually for all mechanical Vernier Calipers it can be used as a calibration master. For others it's a verification gauge.
The purpose of this gauge is to identify faulty instruments from shop floor. So people are using it as a daily calibration/verification master. Because periodic calibration can be out any time without warning. Instruments can be damaged any time. So both system work parallelly daily calibration and periodic calibration. More than 2000 Quick Checks are helping industries worldwide everyday.
