How to step the mast on a 20ft Trailer Sailor

When we bought our boat we struggled to find a decent video on how to step the mast. Something that seems simple enough right? Through some trial and a bit of error we managed to find a system that works for us. Perhaps this might work for someone else, so I thought I'd share.

Furlers are very ez to make mine is mostly pvc even the spool about $40 us 3 years ago and still like new

Hi folks,I have a fibreglass Hartley TS16 - on a trailer - which I sail singlehanded. I have foundthat your method of raising the mast to be the quickest and easiest. I can do it all alone.

Awesome. I’ve seen it done solo on smaller boats for sure. To be honest, I’ve not tried very hard to do it solo as I’ve not tried to solo sail her yet.
