The vast majority of brake pads are not asbestos anymore. And yeah you could sharpen a knife on a brake pad, but with the right technique it can be done on just about any hard surface. I've seen knives sharpened on a brick from dull to splitting hairs
There's so many more episodes of Um Actually on Dropout than the selection here and there's new themed quarantine eps. It is totally worth it if you can swing it.

I think the real question becomes what is a name? Is it what we call ourselves or what others call us? In both cases, I think an argument could be made that he changed his name to Oz.

I'm sad about the dragons. Draconomicon was my favorite. I was struggling if Charybdis was the whirlpool or the rocks. Always between Scylla and Charybdis with that. You should sharpen your knives when they need sharpened, which will depend on the steel the knives are made of, what they are used on and the frequency of use. Sharpening removes steel to create an edge, honing helps to realign steel
