Oh yes , I couldn’t agree more. But hey, you don’t expect less of someone who is a polyglot loves to read 🥰 Eloquent speaking is second nature to her 💯
Thanks for opening up. It was so refreshing and informative. I will however be very glad if you ladies could do a video on the educational system in Germany and how it affects African kids. I watched a video last Monday about why people leave Germany on David Adade’s YT channel. In the comment section, someone raised a point of he not addressing the issue of the German educational system and how they mostly push our African kids to learn a skill or trade instead of going to the university in most cases. Besides this, there have been concerns of also misdiagnosing bubbly African kids with ADHD and putting them on medications to calm them down. They tend to report you if you don't comply even when your child doesn't show signs and symptoms of the condition or don't give the child the medication. And there were several replies from others who happened to have such experience. This is not my first time hearing such stories. I had a distant relative who brought her kids back to Ghana and then to the UK some years ago because of the issue of misdiagnosing ADHD and the educational system which I didn't believe back then. People however have been raising these issues among African kids on various socials in recent times. Have you heard of such stories, how true are they and how do parents and kids deal with it? Can you ladies address it in another video because of Phoebe’s experiences and knowledge of the laws of Germany? Thank you
Super Beitrag. I love your perspective and found this conversation very interesting. Parents need to be very intentional about being involved in their children's lives. Having children grow up in "paralelgesellschaften " will always put them at a disadvantage.
If you want your child to go to gymnasium you have to instill the joy of learning and self teaching in your child and encourage their interests. And you as the parent have to be on course with information on the German system and stay on your child’s progress. Go to the meetings and be present. I wish you and your family all the best. ❤
