I was in the local church with my mom when someone came up to me and said they watch all of my videos, and loved my video with Old Man Morris.

Morris is a classic small town barber who entertains and has so many stories. I already knew he retired. I really don't know where to find him, except that he is from around Wichita.
Cory, who I met in church said the old Morris Barbershop still lives on, but is now used by a 22 year old who just dabbles in barbering for his friends and family named Jerry. Cory passed my number to Jerry, and he invited me down for a haircut after work. During the day he works as a welder.
Jerry, the young Kansas barber, began his interest in bring a barber during the pandemic. He began watching lots of TH-cam videos to learn the techniques. He is now three years into learning barbering. Sometimes he considers going to barber school. For now he is content just doing haircuts on the side for his friends. And luckily they let him practice on them!
I think he gave me a perfect haircut and beard trim. His haircut method was methodical and slow. I absolutely enjoyed the haircut sounds, and how slow he did it. I'm grateful 🙏.
Jerry's haircut is very relaxing, since he isn't very talkative. This was the opposite of Morris, who is always missed in Moundridge. Someone told me they saw him at the local beer and pizza spot in town called The Hub recently. I wonder if he would still give me a haircut in his retirement. I bet he still would. ...But he doesn't do shaves! (lol. If you know you know.)

This is wild to see the same shop all these years later. It’s changed a little bit, but it still looks so familiar, especially the lazy boy chair. Sad to hear Morris retired, he was wild. This new barber is so young!

Wow, talk about a typical small, quiet midwest town, with the blinking red light in the center of town and everything. Don't have too many places like that where I live in loud, congested New Jersey. Jerry did a solid job for someone that cuts hair on the side, and isn't formally trained. Enjoyed the video!

LOVE The Caprice Classic, It's the perfect Ruppmobile, like the 'Bluesmobile' from the Blues Brothers, and the original Broken Bug Deflector is the best feature! Jerry's Cheese Factory Barber shop is the the perfect Midwest Barber shop experience too! Where else can you shoot a round of pool while waiting for a trim? Maybe if he had a self-serve Coffee and snack bar along with pool were locals and visitors could hang out while watching and getting a hair cut.
He needs some merch like hats and T's that say something like "I Got Cut at Jerry's Creamery and Billiards and Barber Shop - Moundridge, Kansas"
Hehe Jerry's creamery. Yep this was the old cheese factory for as long as we can all remember. Their cheese was absolutely amazing.
