the guy who made Caryalind did a wonderful job sifting through the audio of kaidans voice actor to splice together a dragon age style of banter. i wish all follower mods did this, but i get not wanting to do so much work for little to no money. i wish both mod authors a good life full of friends and fortune.
Damnit….now I have to download ANOTHER follower….this is quickly turning into a LOTR-esque party in my play thru with Lucien, Inigo, Kaidan and my Breton DB ( she’s obviously the hobbit of the group). Guess I do need an elf as well 😂
Can't forget Auri. She has banter with Luci, Kai, and Ini. It makes sense to have a party though. I mean when facing world ending threats I certainly wouldn't go alone or limit myself to just one follower.

I get why Kaidan is super tense with Caryalind, is because of the Thalmor and Caryalind is neat for calling out the other side of the Thalmor race, that not all of them are under that philosophy. I appreciate him for being like some other high elves on skyrim.
I want there to be a mod where Kaidan and Caryalind Thallery both compete against each other for the dragonborn's attention should you have them in the same world together. I'd like to see how the jealously between them would play out (lol).

Edit: I also keep checking Caryalind’s mod, and it claims there is a way to set Kaidan and him up together, but I STILL cannot find the option, or any videos that show how to do it. I don’t believe it says that part is in development…
Still sounds off, doesn't sound like this anymore and I just recently tested it. Kaidan doesn't sound like himself with Caryalind around, so I stopped having Cary follow my character. Unless I make a new character without Kai, I ain't using Cary in my first playthrough. Sucks cause he sounds like a interesting character too, but it is too immersion breaking for me.
A high elf that hates the thalmor is a good idea for a character. So does he have compassion for and want to redeem all races? Or does he just hate the entire religion too?
As far as he says, he’s pretty much like the crown prince of the Aldmeri Dominion and is essentially against all they’re doing and claims he wants to help you so that he can help as many people as he can, specifically he says he wants to help those the Thalmor have hurt or at least try to make up for it though he knows he can’t. He doesn’t really say much about religion as far as I’ve seen but I do know that he not very fond of his father and disagrees with just about anything the Thalmor support. ( also I apologize this comment was so long, I tend to over explain lol) (Also this is just what I’ve taken from it so far I do have him as a follower but if anyone had any corrections please let me know!)

Ive recently been downloading follower mods like crazy and Cary, Khash and Kai are my go to.. makes me feel like one big misfit family 😭❤️

You'll get the option after they've had a conversation related to the Thalmor Embassy. You'll know it when you see it ;)

Did they bring this version back? I heard they replaced Kaiden’s VA which is incredibly immersion breaking.

Pretty sure he (like Kaiden) isn’t a big fan of Ulfric though although in his case it’s because he believes him to be too similar to his father.
