It’s good you don’t drink chai around meal time. You can take it 1 hour before or 2 hours after meal, but if you want iron to be absorbed well it’s better to avoid chai/coffee/tea completely. It’s because the tannins inside limit iron absorption. I’m in third trimester and same like last time I am completely avoiding it and having the best iron levels I’ve ever had 😅
