i have made baio gas plant anout 40 years ago its realy good ppl was shookd when its works bt its not good for cold wather now im livingin uk i dont know why pak ppl dont use it

The square pit on the left is the inlet where all the dung/biomass is dumped, which then slides into the drum. It then decomposes and generates methane. The three bars around the drum serve as a support for the lid, which is a cylinder within a cylinder, and rises up as the volume of gas increases, while maintaining pressure. There is an outlet for the remaining material to exit. Powers a gas stove for three meals a day and lamps all night.
Best part is that it costs roughly around 250 to 500$
Excellent program but the cost does not remain the same all the time and places

Thanks Dr. Ashraf for uploading the video.........i like your simple yet effective bio gas plant........My namme is Shiva and i am from India and i appreciate that a lot of farmers in Pakistan use biogas plants for energy production........since it reduces greenhouse gases such as methane.........i also like your simple style of presentation. wish there were more people who use these innovative ideas for a better future

very nice design,its look like my design .,. in your floating tank don't use metal tank . i suggest... use plastic or fiber glass or stainless sheet.. to make it long life. did you study your design i think so... its good, this type is more productive than sealed. at my experience late 90's when i started to do this type using my design. and i compared other. i assured that Dr. ashraf sahibzada's work is good.

can there be an explosion. secondly can gas escape from the inlet where cowdung is put in or can it be lost from the waste compost?

Dr Ashra sb, What are you demonstrating here? This design and technology is too old I thing perhaps more old then your age. For God Sake, this design can be developed by an uneducated man of any rural area without you help. Can you explain where is the technology here? Don't waste your energyplease.
