    Nice tour! I really prefer the wood tongue & grove ceiling instead of the upholstery material you use in other vans. Great backsplash!! I am considering buying the 2021 AWD Ford Transit Tall. Does your company ever work with the Transit or are you Sprinter only? Know the design layout I want(w/rack, solar, garage below bed for 2 bikes. Shower... just thinking outdoor shower from rear, etc...) I will be living in it full time to travel around after retiring next year. Been watching your vids for a while & really like your work! Love the van! Amazing amount of storage.
    One constructive critique and one question. Critique - moving forward, please consider trimming the angle iron at an angle where it protrudes into the living area, so it is less ouchy if you catch yourself. I would worry about the top one being at younger kids eye/head level when bed is stowed away. Question - can the lower couch platform be moved to the top bedrail and be used there also?

      @@277kne I meant to put 35 to 55 but don't hold me to that. With the research I've done that seems about the average for a up fitter that pretty much has there systems in place for whatever van there working on. When it starts getting more expensive is when you want to do your own custom design, materials, ect. And yes the battery system is going to be the most expensive part of the build they can be 20+ alone when you go all out.

    5 people to include 3 children in a B travel van…ok. Good luck with that nightmare. Very nice build, but if I’m paying that kind of money with that many people I’m getting a traditional RV. These vans are really meant for 1 or 2 people.

    • @TitanVans
      @TitanVans 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Traditional RVs are not built any where close to the quality of our camper vans and most are not designed for off grid use. We have plenty of customers that travel with 4-5 in our vans. Though we also understand they are not for everyone.

    Ceiling is not tongue and groove, tiny table for 5 will result in a lot of fights between the kids for the middle seat. One pit cooktop for 5 people without any prepping space, they will not cook proper meals. Bed platform is just a raised floor so the kids sleep on the floor. Nothing wrong with that just call it what it is. Bikes go on top of the bed platform which is upholstered...that will get messy quick. Everything 'stored' underneath the subfloor will come flying through the van and side to side when driving/hitting the brakes. That toilet cover is too much hassle, will stay off after first use of the toilet. The bunny was the best feature 🤣

      Cassette toilet is anchored to van on a slide both mentioned and demonstrated. I guess its in the eye of the beholder. I like the utilitarian nature of the van and would like something similar with indoor shower type setup and cassette toilet. Almost VW Westfalia like and those vans have really stood the test of time. Simple design that after 40 years is still sought after by young and old.
