Knowing that a team of 20 people buikd sets, set the lights, do the digital prep and hair and makeup makes it difficult to say that she got better with time!
That Fleetwood Mac photo of them all in bed from her Rolling Stone days is one of my absolute favorite photographs. It's wonderful to see the evolution of her work

Also, Annie's book «American Music» is in my opinion her best work ever. Not glamorous, not complicated shoots, just excellent portraits of all types of musicians in their own environment.

Wow that's so interesting. My attention span is so bad since my adhd makes me easily distracted. But I could watch this whole video completely focused. You're truly a great story teller
Thank you Tim! It's unfortunate that TH-cam actually flagged the video as inappropriate for most advertisers so it has been suppressed by the algorithm, but when I cut it in the individual sections, none of them were flagged.
Not knowing what the actual offending sliver of content is the worst part. I should be fine with Lingbergh, I only have his first pirelli calendar that I have to censor and hopefully it will be ok.
@@timskinnercanada haha exactly. Ritts is definitely on the list, it is just more difficult with certain photographers who don’t have as much written about them or interviews. I’ve started Sally Mann’s book, even if she isn’t a fashion photographer, Lindbergh listed her as an influence on his work and so many others have tried to replicate her.
It's very disappointing but youtube wouldn't add the autogenerated subtitles to a video this long. They also restricted the video for being advertiser unfriendly so that less people will see it.
Don't put your own take on what "YOU" think the queen thoughts were! If that was the case why did the Queen ask her again to come back and take pictures of her and her family? And I might add, with no Tiara in sight. As Annie said in this video, it was agreed upon all the people involved, including the Queen that she would come in with no Crown/Tiara & take some pictures & then put it on later. So what Annie was asking the Queen to do is something that was agreed upon before hand, & also maybe, that's why Annie thought the Queen was joking with her reply. That said, she did took it off & those pictures with out the Tiara are just stunning & are much more beautiful than the ones with her wear it.

The Lennon pic was her best, but Rolling Stone was stupid running their logo on top, it should have been NO type at all, that would have been genius.
