Btw going under it, this has the semi trailing arm rear suspension and CV axle drive from the 120GLS/130/135 with a 5-speed gearbox while the normal 105/120L/GL models had swing axle drive and 4-speed gearboxes.
Good notice. I think that also the heating system adjuster is from the earlier model (with the blue and red arrows).
My first car is a 2006 Dodge Durango… it has a messed up wheel, two of the bolts won’t come off, transmission god knows what’s wrong, rear wiper disassembled, and pretty much I need of a lot love….
Engine hood should've got release on C pillar, when you open the door behind driver. And front trunk release is in passenger footwell. This applies to real Skoda
My dad had one in Orange with a black vinyl roof back in the 90s, here in the UK they called them the "Estelle", I remember it being quite a comfy car, if a bit quirky... :P
Wow, your dad had a 120L Super Estelle LSE, It is rarer than the others today, and i think, the best equipped 120 ever made.
@@MREnzoHerbie Looking at the specs of that particular one you mention, I'm not sure it was one of the higher spec models, it didn't have a sunroof or tinted windows, and given that dealers at the time could sell options like the vinyl roof as individual addons, it probably was just a standard one with that added on when it was bought new, but I don't recall the model numbers & letters unfortunately, could have even been a more rare 130 version for all I know...

@@MREnzoHerbie Yeah, the one you mentioned is listed as one of the "special models" we got, put together by UK dealers, everything else was basically the same as their home market options from what I can tell...
That's a good car but it would be better if it was finished
