I no longer recommend buying Meepo boards, and I'm not linking to them on my channel. If you would like to know why, you can watch my review of all of the issues I've had here: th-cam.com/video/qXOF2Iiwskg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=K06kUWIoZbxIQC72
@eBoard3R crap… I actually put them back onto the board and took the ShredLights off… lemme check later if I have any spares though. If I do, they’re yours
@@ronanhutchinson thanks, I removed ones from my Flow as I lowered the board, thin risers but now the holders dont fit as the Flow cable holders have a sideways design to accomodate thick risers. The V5 and Envy ones are not sideways and should fit. I use cable ties but the envy/v5 holded protects connector better. Only if it's spare and no trouble.
@eBoard3R no worries. I had a look earlier but couldn’t find any… I’ll have another look in a while. (I feel like I have a spare set somewhere) I’ll let you know if I find em
Hey. The original V3 was my first e board. I loved it, but I had issues with it too… At the moment, I’m reluctant to recommend Meepo at all because of the issues I’ve had across all my boards. I have a separate video coming on that which I’m planning on publishing in a few weeks. If Tynee won’t work, I’d look at Exway for a street/ longboard. I’ve never tried Tynee or Exway though, so I’ve no idea what they’re actually like to use.
@@ronanhutchinson I just bought the Tynee Stinger (I can inline and roller skate) but at 55 this is my first skateboard. I'm actually scared of it 😅 Do not stand on it and start in 3rd or 4th gear 😮🤸🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ The tork is crazy and you better bet ready, but somehow starting in 2nd makes everything a little better (first feels kinda slow and wobbly, but what do I know? Lol) So, I'm bubble wrapped up and practicing balance, jumping on and off, and sometimes I go rrrreeeasaallll slowwwww up and down my sidewalk. One day... 🚀🚀🚀
@MyrtleBeachWebAngel nice. Everyone starts somewhere. I was the same when I got my first board. But you build up experience and confidence as you go. Keep at it and you’ll be flying in no time. It’s up to you whether you push off first and then accelerate, or just jump on and drive away from a standstill. I always jumped on and gently engaged the throttle. It’s harder on the battery, but it’s easier to get balanced for cruising. Just make sure your weight is being taken by your front leg so you don’t fly backwards when you accelerate away.
No it was broken. Meepo confirmed it was a fault in the design of the motor, and told me they changed it later in the production cycle. That’s why they sent me replacement motors…
I mean, I can’t say I’m happy with the reliability of the board… but their service when I told them what happened was as good as it could be. They just arranged for the new motor assembly to be shipped.

*Yikes,* but good to see they acknowledged the issue and sent you the parts.

Great video. 👏🏽👏🏽
100% I do have another video coming about more of problems with this board, and others 😔) that’s a LOT less positive though… but it’s fair.
@@ronanhutchinson Ooo, I could do with that pair of cable connector Holders if you're not usin them and don't mind postin the pair to London 👀

Recently ordered the tynee ultra hub but not getting it now due to technical issues. Thinking about getting the V3S instead. Thoughts?

Going to try the Veymax roadster x4 they seem to have excellent customer service and durable batteries
@GoodControls nice. Yeah they seem like a decent crowd! Wouldn’t mind trying one of their boards at some stage

The motor wasn’t broke you just had to screw that plate back on and the hub would re center

I don't believe you got a motor for free their service suck like real bad
