- I have experienced the importance of sharing and borrowing wisdom in multiple areas of my life. And you know what? I’m sure that you will go farther faster when you choose to truly seek wisdom, walk in wisdom and share the wisdom you gain along the way.
In this episode of The Sister Circle Podcast, I share what I’ve learned about walking in wisdom. There is always someone walking behind you that needs your mentorship. And there is always someone further down the road that you can glean from.
Be willing to soak up all the wisdom you can so that you can prepare for tomorrow, today.

“We hack time when we learn from each other”🔥🔥🔥. Thank you so much, Ms. Evans-Hurst❤
Thank you for sharing this. I am 69 years old and still learning and gaining wisdom. I enjoy listening to you and learning. God bless.
Less of me being caught with the lack of peace and more of me relying on God in the discomfort and pains in growth
Needed the reminder we hack time when we are open to learning from others ❣️
❤ Good Evening my beautiful people. 😊
I turn 41 Saturday and this was the perfect message! So many gems such as listening to wisdom will set you up, what wisdom do I need to borrow today, be a lifelong learner, keep the order in my marriage, and grant wisdom as I'm gaining wisdom. May God continue to bless you, Chrystal 😇 I purchased the planning bundle with the t-shirt, and can't wait for it to arrive🤓
I'm using this ...."uncomfortable conversations are crucial"
My key takeaway is to start sharing my wisdom with those around me. I enjoyed listening to this! As a young mom your content is so valuable. Thank you for sharing with me. I am also learning to share my wisdom with others. Thanks again!
Yeah, my mother is no longer in a place where I can learn from her wisdom. She's 81 and all the listening I did when I was younger, I took notes. It's serving me well now. It's hard to know my mother is still here but gone. Who she was, she is no more. I can no longer rely on her. I'm up to bat now. It's a total grieving process.....and she's still alive.
Wonderful message!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. My key takeaway is to start sharing my wisdom with those around me and stop shrinking myself down. Also, to start seeking more wisdom from others and from books. Never thought about reading like that!! THANK YOU❤
Thank you Chrystal, for the wisdom you’ve shared with us 💛
This is soooo good! I often take for granted my lessons that could help others (b/c I feel like they’re not a big deal) but this video and many of your others serve as a reminder to keep sharing and keep living. I’m going to write down what I’ve learned as a single parent and share it with others. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 💛💛💛
Crystal! This was timely, especially as I navigate being a new BSF Group Leader this year.
You dropped so many nuggets that I plan to rewatch and take notes.
Thanks for being a big sister/online mentor for me.
The listening aspect is key. I am learning how to listen and rely more and more on God. Thank you.
There are so many great points, but one for me is to face the uncomfortable 😮
You are my online mentor 💓thank so much !
OOOOOOhhhhh, this is so so good Chrystal. Thank you so much. I needed this today.☺👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽
Own what you know and pass it on. I will walk in confidence as I ingest and digest.
Even though this is geared to us women- I’m forwarding it to my son. I know he will be blessed and will benefit from your sound advice and perspective. Ty!!❤
Letting go and making room for the new Yeses. Be teachable, malleable, but own it. Walk into spaces like a leader and show up to the meetings with a vision. Walk and talk with confidence with a hope in your new life. Digest and ingest. Grow. Stand in your power. Amen..❤
Good evening all!!!
❤🟡
Absolutely loved this podcast!!!! My takeaway is releasing those things that no longer is useful for your progression forward!!!
Thank you for being real.
I definitely needed this.❤❤
I say 'my or your tomorrow will thank me, 'lol.
It was sooo delicious and I am 75... Releasing what you need to let go of..... I also like how you deal with your young adult children... I am passing this talk to my daughter and will ask her to pass on to my young adult granddaughter.
Hello Crystal, this was so needed for me today, I appreciate what you said about knowing we have wisdom to share and we should share it and I needed
the word about show up in the meeting etc
It was so many nuggets
Thank you ❤
I don't have any wise women around me so I'm figuring out life on my own.
"Quit shrinking back." Thank you for this!❤
My takeaway is that “reading is borrowed knowledge.”
😂I got stung the whole way, but it was with love and I am so grateful.
Wow great word well done. I’m going to start standing in my truth with self and others. Do better learning and teaching and let it be uncomfortable. Thank you!
I love how you stressed the word intentional, everyone I give advice to I make sure to stress everything they do needs to be done with intentionality even when reading the Bible, read it with purpose. I live my life focusing on intentional behavior. People tell me all the time the word intentional STUCK with them after talking to me. Amen.
Great sharing Chrystal , I have been deliberately mentoring 2 young ladies, but I haven't done so well in meeting my mentor more regularly and seeking wisdom from other older women. I need to make a deliberate plan.
Great needed lesson.❤
Own it!
Oooh weeee… my key takeaway is remembering that my husband is the leader. It doesn’t matter what insight I may have, but to ask questions and watch my tone!🙌🏽
Wow! God has been training me in listening lately... I'm loving this!
Thanks got stung through and through but the most was learning to be uncomfortable
This is so great empowering encourage uplifting thank you
What 3 books would you recommend?
We hack time when we learn from others!
Show up to the room (in your condience). My takeaway was to stop shrinking. I got thangs to say!😅 Seriously. 😊
Good Wisdom here😊 I’m 50. I need a mentor.
Thank you Auntie Chrystal, yes I'll say Auntie because that's exactly what your talks feel like - shared wisdom from a loving and wise Aunt. This episode came so perfectly timed. Thank God! 🙏🏾 I'm all the way in South Africa, in my early 30s, currently single and feel like I'm constantly figuring things out. For a while now I've felt like I needed to get refocused from a previously challenging season and now busy season to get realigned and reset with God. Things have been good, but sometimes we can forget the stillness and intentional check in. This week I'm taking a carved out REST week (along with my whole team) and the nuggets you've shared are gold reminders. Thank you! What really got me was when you said - we hack time when we learn from each other. That was powerful. Challenged me to share this very episode and make notes about where I am at and where I sense God is taking me. Last thing I'll say again, is just thank you! Have a blessed week ladies 💛
Walk in and own it don't shrink back 🤕🥰
❤
I love it...DIG
Digest, Ingest Grow
I guess I really should get the scale , It’s scary for me but if I look at the scale as a tool to help me be better and get better, instead of the death of me .
Godblessing alltime Camille punch iloveyou somust
Please share about parenting and adult child! Cause whew child! Lol
Hello, how do you go about getting a mentor?
Thinking I was past the point.
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉
Show up for me
Can you reach out to me
Stop shrinking back- that stung deeply
Don't shrink back
Totally off topic,or perhaps not. What do you do when you and your 12 yr old son is told that they are musically talented in more than one instrument... since they were 10... and their music instructor (who toured w Stevie Wonder & Prince) can get your child into Booker T... amd later a Full ride scholarship BUT, all your child cares about is sports...bcz music is not cool? Said child is highly intelligent and still trains musically (bcz momma said so) but not like before. He just doesn't have the passion. He is going along with what all the other young people pursue. - Praying Momma.
