Good video, I purchased my existing 640 in 2010 brand new, it’s still in use with me. Got it’s engine done last year. Also carries sugercane 600 plus monds to Suger mill. I am very happy with my workhorse 640.

But I don't want my tractor to have multiple visits to the workshop monthly and Fiat's are notorious for that, I don't know if that's just a myth. The main duty of that tractor would be to plough the lands with regular implements like chisel, disks and rotavator. But it also might have to take the sugarcane load of 500-600 mounds to the sugar mill also. So that's the duty it should be performing. Land is 96 acres. 385 is considered the king here in my area but owners are also not satisfied with its fuel consumption.
@@KK-px4hh I agree with the multiple visit part sir, but then again those parts / visits won’t be expensive. FIAT engine is extraordinary, won’t overheating, would last for 8-10 years. It has how ever limitations when put for hauling, rear side is weak as well as is slow on road. 385 is a better puller and has good speed. But is not that good on a thrasher has higher fuel consumption, engine is likely to give more issues I have come to a conclusion that one tractor is not enough, even for a small scale farmer like myself. I would 260 on road / haulling and 640 on plough and thrasher.My smaller machine is a 1969 model Fiat 480
