Excellent compilation Steve! I can see that you were very fortunate to catch this at 3 different locations. I'am glad I was able to help you on this and seeing you again. Conrail is something you won't see anymore nowadays.
Thanks Conor! It was a rough morning but absolutely worth it. My photos at that location were simply stellar. Ehh I'll take all these other units going by in diminished lighting, its the 1072 I want perfect lighting for =D
Sick video Steve! You got the engine on 33K in much better light than I did haha! That had to be rough trying to see it on 20E. I'll be shocked the day a heritage engine goes east/west through the entire Lehigh Line in full lighting. Great job!
Haha I have a Canon Vixia HF M52. The camera performs really well in most conditions, the main problem I'm having with it is how easily it picks up the vibrations from a passing train. In Hillside I was a good 20-30 feet away from the track, this would have been a suitable distance if I was using my HF R11 but as seen in the video that's nowhere near far enough for the HF M52 to not pick up any shaking.
what model camcorder do you have? That night shot at Ridgewood was amazing... lol I NEED IT! epic video too, glad someone was able to do all the things I wanted.. lol
Why couldn't they make one of the Dash 9's lead? Unless it's an ACE, I HATE it when NS puts a heritage unit up front, stupid electronic bells and lousy horns ruin the whole "heritage" idea!
Nice to see she lead all 3 of those trains. Awesome catches Bob
Yeah it was certainly a treat to see it leading each train, thanks!
CSXACe you still alive?

Great video and shots of the Conrail heritage engine!
Perfect ! !!
Thanks Johnny boy! That's the spirit, it's not going to get repainted any time soon. You'll have your chance to shoot it.
Thanks Rich! There will be another time to get it, no doubt about it.

Thanks Jacob!
Superb video Steve! Too bad I missed him in Rutherford. I left and 20 minutes later he left Croxton.

Cool video...I admire your dedication.
Haha thanks man! I though it was pretty crazy of me to do this, but I think the end result made it worth doing.
Thanks Russel! That's a shame bro, hopefully it'll come around again soon!
Amazing Video Steve! Glad to see Conrail (well sort of lol) leading on ex CR trackage!
Thanks bud!
Thanks bro!
