@@gileswelham2619 I brought a pair of Longthornes a couple of years ago as a treat after a good year. Lovely guns , not as reliable as my old 686 Silver Pigeon but most of the time I shoot well with them and there is a certain pride in owning them. They will be something I can hand down to my sons when I finally give up shooting

Is it just me that finds beaters calling birds annoying?
Looking at the defoliated trees in the first drive, there must be more lead in the tree than in the birds!! Very unpleasant conditions too.
They are deciduous trees !!
