As we close out the week of operation life saver, this video highlights the importance of all rail crossing safety. Rail safety impacts the quality of everyone's life. Dont forget nasdaq listed DUOT, rail car scanner; serving 3 class 1's and a major passenger service add to the rail safety value chain.
I always thought it would be neat to talk to an engineer conductor and actually hear their stories I can almost imagine that they've had a lot of near misses and maybe even some hits. For some strange reason you can't get it through people's minds that they're playing Russian roulette with their life when they're cutting off trains like that that's just plain stupid somebody said in the comments you can't fix stupid ain't that the truth.
To close for comfort.. who received the tank car.. very interesting video thank you.. they use Northfork and southern line coming out of East Peoria going to Morton you did some great work getting this video.. one more question what frequency are they on 😊

Everybody calling out the driver... Look at the lights? Don't look to be working to me. That would have been on the RR. It's not always the drivers fault.
@@thefaballbowler No. When shoving through town, the conductor walks the crossing to ensure motorists are aware of the train's movement. Pulling, they do not need to do that.

That guy almost became a SD40-2 hood ornament. Great catch!
Wow, at first I thought the thumbnail was some clickbait bs but no it actually happened! You can’t fix stupid 😂. Great video👍🏼🇺🇸😎

I am so happy for you David that he missed! You are one of my favorite people in the world, and I would hate for anything to happen to you.
Thanks, Thomas!

😮😮😮😮😮 I am just lost for words. It looked like there may have been less than a foot of room between the train and the truck!
Wow! That was close.
