This has been waiting to be heard since it went on the library list. I'm pleased I put it on the "to do list". 🤔 👍🙂 A Happy, Healthy & Fortunate, 2022 , to One & ALL. Namaste 🙏 💟
This is one of my favorite Christmas classics! And I love the dramatization by the cast. Mmmmmm Robert Mitchum!!!!! For anyone who’s been in love - or even a triangle - you can identify.
Do you mean Jody, the son? That was Claude Jarman Jr. (both the movie and the Lux Radio Theatre rendition of it), who is not listed in the cast of this episode.
I always loved this movie I'm so happy I found it on Old Time Radio.
good story, love the actors and everything, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Another wonderful radio program
I own this dvd. I watch it often but has Janet Leigh. Robert Mitchum is perfect.

I happened upon this 5 days before Christmas 2021...this aired 5 days before Christmas 1950, 10 years before I was born!
The radio play is more fun than the movie (which I love )
And they lived happily ever after.
I'm enjoying this despite the awful laugh track.
Surely that was live in a theatre with real people
At first I thought one of the actors pictured was Clark Gabel
Is Timmy the little boy that played the little brother in “The Yearling?”
