It's puzzled me since 1979, how a band from Tulsa, Oklahoma USA, came to record a worldwide hit based on the fine city of York, Ouse Upside Your Head. I stayed at a farm in the village of Snainton in 1978 with a visit to the NY Moors Railway whilst there, and in York itself a few times in the years that followed. I'm approx 240 miles South.
