- Trogir is a town on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, an important Mediterranean trading port in medieval times. One of the top travel destinations in Croatia and UNESCO World Heritage site. Its preserved old town is a mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque architecture from the Venetian period.

Lived there, summer is lovely, you have almost 100 sunny days in a row with weather like in the video. The old town is a gem.

I was born there in the old town a years ago (a long time ago, 60s, last century). Pasike or Batarija, it was always a question Love my Trogir and proud of my Trogir forever. The best place in the world. So simple and warm but so powerful. Such an experience fulfilled with love.
It is Beautiful Place I was there 2 years ago and it is also very nice spot for plane spotting planes they com very low to land at Split airport 👌

Amazing city, and one that I have not visited. The closest city I visited is further South in Dubrovnik! The Adriatic is a great place to holiday and thankful I visited in 1977. Thanks Milosh for sharing and showing these beautiful places!

I love this channel, my gramma is from Croatia I believe this part. From the town vis, formally Yugoslavia. They film the game of thrones. She had to leave Croatia when she was 12 and was a refugee in Egypt for 2 years b4 coming to America. She is a wonderful gramma! And she has had quite the life.

Hi Costas. Trogir was build by Greeks over 2000 years ago. Old name Tragurion remindes of tragos (goats). There is a relief art of Greek god Kairos in museum of Trogir.

Some restoration/renovation work needs to done on the little castle. Maybe the E.U funds can help out? I think the Croatian town of Sibenik has done work on its castle and also some forts and they look great.
