Five of my MAGA family members in Florida just flipped!!! This is one of the happiest days of my life! We've been on bad terms since 2020. I put aside my pride because they said some pretty horrible things when I called to check on them during the hurricane, but I called them and begged them to watch the Univision town hall and they did! To say they were shocked is an understatement. They were expecting 2016 Trump. They were very upset by his answers to Jan 6 and immigration. They were also shocked by how incoherent he is! All they watch is Fox and Facebook. I can't believe it and am in complete shock. We spoke last night for hours. They live in the Tampa area, so I can't visit now, but we will be seeing each other for Thanksgiving. Thank you for everything you do. If it wasn't for this community, and Ben specifically, I don't think I would have taken the chance and reached out. You reminded me that I had nothing to lose and America has everything to gain. He said he acted strong against the rioters after watching the violence on TV for 3 hours. He also said 'we' when alluding to the rioters. Which means my team was fighting these policeman with guns when we had no guns (not true).
