Eric, loved the jigs, can't wait to tie some. One of my favorites is a hot pink head, chartreuse tail, rainbow flash and white sparkle chanille. I powder coat my jig head white and then use hot pink nail polish. The white under coat makes the pink really stand out. Thank you again for sharing. I always learn so much from your videos. PB
Two good looking jigs for muddy water. On Kentucky lake I like when the water gets muddy is black-hot pink ,black-chartreus, black-red. Doesn't matter if it is plastic or hand tied. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Eric , Thank you , You just helped me with my muddy water jigs ! I am going to make a good batch of them to go in my box for next year ! Thank you for sharing again and again !
I appreciate you Eric. I like those 2. I am going to try to tie some of those patterns up before I leave. My 7yr old son thinks I’m a super star now because you mentioned my name in your video. Lol! P.S. I purchased the Peak Rotary vise because of your videos. I went from tying on a basic $30 vise to the Peak it is a world of difference! Because of how smooth it is and how well it holds on, I find myself tying a lot more jigs now and enjoying it a whole lot more.
My go-to must have muddy water is black head 1/32 Oz gold thread gold neck yellow Marabou with red or orange Marabou accent for the tail. And gold Flash That's what I tie for my muddy water.
hey great color choices I really like black and chartruse .I have a question for you how do you keep your flash so nice and straight ,mine always curls up and I don't like the way it lays on jig thanks for all your content really enjoy
Thank you for the time you spend making your jigs so that I can try to emulate you. I thank you so much for your teaching and trainings. Thank you.
Very very welcome thank you for watching
My lake is constantly muddy here in southern Oklahoma, so we use black and chartreuse and dark purple and chartreuse tail.
Eufala?

On Kerr lake in Oklahoma my go to muddy water jig is purple head purple body orange tail with copper flash
I’m from red oak haha
Great color though! We use them same. But we fish Eufaula a lot more than Kerr! I need to go try our Kerr more.
Both look like good choices. My opinion, you can never go wrong with chartreuse maribou feathers.
Thanks for all the tips jigs.

Gold and chartreuse works great on coosa river in Alabama when it's muddy which most of every winter and spring it is

I like that
I like them both.
I like the black and blue Jig for the muddy water, have you tried that color combo
I never have really never thought about that color scheme but I will now
Thank you for that tip
Nice tyes. I like both colors. Do you use a base coat for your Disco Gold? Just getting started in powdercoat paints.
No I just heat and dip then apply uv resin coat
Looking to upgrade my vice. It looks like your using a peak vice. How do you like it? Thanks for all your videos and keep them coming!!
Absolutely love the peak I'd never use anything else

I keep all my flash hanging up vertically so it helps keep it straight
@@ericmasseyjigco Another thing about flash, don't have tension on it when cutting or it will curl...
@@ericmasseyjigco thanks for the help i will try that
@@ericpierce4510 ok thanks
