With what little money they make they buy food and cook together, dreaming of Aleppo before the civil war forced them to leave and waiting for an end to their bureaucratic limbo. From their shared tent their friendship endures, despite their impossible circumstances

Nobody is talking though about how the local economy was destroyed especially due to the steep decrease in tourism and the pressures on local resources and infrastructure.
You must think about millions of migrants of ucraine you will receive when Rússia declare war, and if depends of you and USA a word and nuclear war. Even me from Brasil is afraid

It is incredible how for those people from Ukraine there has been millions of help and they have had no problem on getting papers and possibility to work, but for these people you see is the documentary there is nothing. When we want there are resources.

When I lived in a small town in the USA I made $5 a day, this was 2010-2012. This is life for a *lot* of Americans. Now, I live in the city and am very fortunate, I make $50 a day. This is only because I am skilled at what I do and had a connection. $50 a day is a lot more money than a lot of people make in San Jose California. Allow me to reiterate: Do not come to the USA. Stay in Europe. A lot of Americans would jump at the chance to live in that burned out camp if it meant they could stay in Europe.

Wtf?! I live in Los Angeles California a short drive from San Jose. It’s true if ur not here legally you won’t make a ton of money. That said there are so many side hustles that you can make a good solid living.
