That's the thing about Bucky. He's just incredibly resilient and a survivor. He survived decades of abuse and victimization which most people in the MCU could not even imagine, and yet despite all that still retained his kind and selfless nature. Another thing I really think is admirable is that Bucky never goes on about how much he suffered nor did he become bitter and lash out at other people because of it.

I have read a theory somewhere that even though it's subtle the super soldier serum did also enhance Bucky. The same way it fidwith Steve. That he was always resilient and loyal and then the serum elevated these traits in him.
Man I love Bucky ❤ One of my favorite characters!
