- Floods in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. Thursday 4th February 2021.
Following a few hours of heavy rain running into blocked drains the village centre started to flood. The River Misbourne is higher that usual although not actually causing these floods. Unfortunately some of the flood water is coming from sewers overflowing and polluting the river downstream. This is some of the the worse flooding Chalfont St Peter in 2001.
