Android 14 really did good for the Pixel 7. Feels zippier and the heating issues have been reduced.
If I only use it in 4g should the battery last longer? How does it fare with games that are a bit heavy like T3 Arena?
Guys ,i kinda need a new phone ,but i dint jnow what to do .Should i get the pixel 7 or the pixel 8 ?Should i wait more ? (I have a Huawei p smart z thats not really good )
I'm getting 8 to 10 hours screen time without sacrificing performance. I disabled some Apps, Restricted data, and battery usage on apps. Also turned off sync.
Pixel 7 is phenomenal. I tried the 8 but didn't like the size or notice any difference. performance wise.
the gap between tensor g3 and g2 is very minimal.
Could you give more details I want the 7 used but the 8 looks pretty good but it seems like the pro has all the new features and not the 8
@@user-or9gh7dl5eI don't consider a massive improvement on a Pixel 8 over Pixel 7 after you update to Android 14. The speeds and pictures quality are very close to each other. No more heat problems on Pixel 7 and more stable now.
@@user-or9gh7dl5ehow bad does the battery heat up on the 7?
I bought the 7 just before the 8 was released, at a great price. Read the reviews and it seemed like a really minor upgrade in practical use. I'll probably do the exact same thing when the 10 comes out and grab the 9.
I picked up a P7 about 4 months ago and I'm very satisfied gave my P6 to my wife im wait on the P9 to upgrade
Here in India I'm getting it for 300usd after exchange with my s20fe 5g
hows the network performance in your opinion?i read people got connectivity issues from it can you please elaborste a bit
I don't get any issues with the network connectivity. Looks, I do use Uber/Lyft apps at the same time play music, Spotify, thru Bluetooth. No heating problems and no freezing up so far.
I've been using the redmi note phones for the past 5 yrs and have been quite satisfied so far, so much so that i tried other midrange phones in between and they just didn't compare with overall performance and features so i went back to the redmi note phones...
went from a redmi note 8 to a redmi note 10 but now I'm thinking of getting a pixel cause i hear great things about them so i think I'm going to try this pixel 7... especially since i can find it for $260 refurbished these days...seems like it might be worth the risk, especially since amazon has an easy return policy...my other option is the galaxy s21, also refurbished for about $280... But I'm leaning more towards the pixel...curious if it has nfc though which nobody seems to mention.🤔
Which game was that at 1:50?
grimvalor.
Just picked up a Amazon Renewed Pixel 7 for $306 with tax.
Hello, is there a big difference between the 7 and 8 phones in terms of the camera?
Not a big difference. You will get great pictures with Pixel 7. That is why I didn’t change my Pixel 7 to 8 because I don’t see any difference in the camera.
@@josem3 Okay, thank you very much for the answer
8 is just a marketing ploy, similar, one Yr more software updates. I have both, kept my old 7 in use though as preferred size.
Still a phenomenal phone! My normal SOT is roughly 6-8hrs ,the warming problem has been not noticable as before, with the December tweak upgrades such as ultra hdr added to the camera this phone is really overlooked in my opinion
I feel like I struggle to get 5-6hrs SOT unfortunately.
@@nukemebruhh I didn't mention I stay on LTE I only use 5g for downloading or streaming, try that for a week or two and see you notice a difference
My problem with these Pixels with the Tensor chips are it takes a year for them to smooth out the issues. And it's all because they used Exynos architecture on their Tensor chips. I am a huge Pixel fan but until they get rid of the Exynos junk in their phones I wouldn't feel comfortable buying a Pixel again. Which is a shame because the hardware looks fantastic and I like the Pixel setup. But their bugs combined with the issues of the Tensor chips from performance to overheating and random glitches keeps Google from reaching their potential with the Pixel lineup.
Rumor has it Google's going to TSMC for manufacturing in 2025. Pixel 10 could be amazing. Yeah exynos sucks.
Can anyone tell me thier expensive with the pixel 7
Can you do a comparison between the 7 and 8 ?
we've got a video coming soon.
Hey man the price for the Pixel 7 in my country is $500 for the base variant and the Pixel 8 is ~$700 - $750. Given that price difference, do you think its worth it? I'm finally upgrading from a Poco X2 which I run with a custom rom that pretty much gives me the affordable Pixel experience. The 7 years of update on the Pixel 8 would mean I no longer have to fiddle with custom ROMs, but I really want to save money. I'm in a serious dilemma.
Oh and I would also like to mention that the Pixel 7a comes at around $440.
These are all of course brand new phone prices.
Great video!
In my country these days I have te Pixel 8 for 580€ and Pixel 7 for 500€, which this difference is it worthy to pay the extra money and get the Pixel 8?
If you really want to save then stick with the 7, but for just 80 more you're getting a much improved display, a more battery-efficient chipset, as well as the latest Google AI features. but again, if these aren't a priority then the 7 is plenty good.
Of coz at this pricing, it makes more sense to go for the pixel 8 given the improvements and the much longer software support.
Great 1yr later review
thanks a lot!
How is this phone planning to buy pixel 7 but confuse between pixel 7 n 7 pro
I would go for the PTO wish i had did that just didn't want the curved screen
wowowow
I have the pixel 7 but would I recommend it? No
Why not?
I use pixel 6 works great😅
Definitely a great device still
5-6 hrs SOT...yippeekayayy...I consider this a terrible score...I'm getting 13 on my Samsung A34.
Heating issue?????????
There's still
I am still paying off the pixel 7 almost a year and it's the worst cellphone I've ever had. The camera is terrible as well as the camera software, the fingerprint will not work, the texting makes typos all the time, the touchscreen will not slide easily. I switched from a OnePlus 7pro and I've since put the pixel 7 as a 2nd backup phone and returned to using the OnePlus 7pro. Google Pixel 7 works for Google and 3rd parties, not the consumer.
Looking at the comments, I can't believe they are real, or you guys switched from a basic phone to a pixel 7 then I can understand your comments, otherwise this is the same nonsense that Google spreads.
