I like how some of the containers are wrong side front and then in the next edit they are the right way.... I just had instruction at Swissport And they do the opening towards to door so its easier to grab the container by its handles. Also in case of baggage searching its easier to do so and no need to unload it all. And yes, some container have a weight of 600 - 800kg and that means if the system is not working, its a struggle to get it out.
Noticing for the 1st time A320 is having ULD loadings. I have worked on A320s during 2002 Qatar Airways and had Loose baggages loadings. not pallettised.
Engineering can not rectify drive systems specially on 321 320 airbus and pdu on widebody airbus and Boeing type aircraft . This means risking your back and head from injury ... falling backwards in the cargo hold is common and also head injuries by pulling on container and knocking your self on the cargo door . I have seen people with cut open heads And back injuries .
Let's see you pull them out without drive in operation then trip over hit your against the upper door panel or better still fall back wards and put a hair line fracture in your spine
You call the engineers and if it happens you now have and excuse to slow down and take your time because you won't be blame for the delay if it's a turnaround
What a waste of money... A320/A321 bins aren't that big and loading-up 130 bags isn't a huge deal either. So an airline would spend large sums of money in k-loaders, not to mention, the cans, along costs and weight of the additional hardware being flown around when ramp agents could free load the cargo without the additional weight? Unless it is heavy, palletized cargo which cannot be broken down into smaller pieces, this is just a dumb idea.
Unions created this idiotic system. Completely unnecessary because it wastes space on the ground too since it requires additional specialized equipment.
Beautiful video. I wish more people would view this!
This is where the A320 is definitely better than the 737.
Barely any of them have these bruh 😂
@@blitzkrieg634 I still stack a A321 by hand lol
@@danielpetrucci8952 I fucking wish these planes had aircans, makes bag room so much easier

Or in the case of the A300 half of the long/lateral PDUs don't work...
Is a cargo plane or pax plane?

Boeing still couldn't outmatch the A320 when it developed the 737 NG.
Push it mate ... ok let's see you pull them out without drive system non operation
they don't Show how to deal with loading a Container when the drive System is broken.
Push it

Check to see it the sensors are not covered in dust and the latch two latch at the doorway make sure they completely down.
@3:09 you put the can in the wrong way curtain should be facing the doorway just in case you need to empty it by hand.
Been there done that!!
