By far, my favorite (Buckingham/Nicks era) Fleetwood Mac song. My job plays a lot of FM music all day long, this is the one song that I never tire of .
A smile does creep unto my face whenever I go into an old song to see the wonderful surprise of the very beginning of the song being the most replayed. One of the best songs in history.
Their music is still everything. The sounds wake your senses. Conscious lyrics. Their album covers were 🔥 When people say timeless music, think Fleetwood Mac❤
RIP Christine McVie! You and Fleetwood Mac were an integral part of my teenage years!! The summers of 77, 78 and 79 were the BEST because of music like this. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️👍❤️❤️

And Christine was as integral a part of the songwriting, harmonies, performance, and vibes, of any of them. Her legacy will remain, carved into the living hearts of all of us
They still make songs like this you know you just have to listen. Today's musicians get a hard rap but it is more difficult for them to be original. They can only be good.
Every single member of this band is amazing!! Christine McVee, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood... Just amazing preformers. No one today can match. IMO

It resonates with me deeper than any music that’s coming out now and I wish I could thank them for putting this album out despite all of their inner turmoil. It supplied generations upon generations an album full of absolute bangers.
Shame on anyone who'd give this song a thumbs down. It is by far in my top 10... or 5 favorite songs. 3:01 is just chill and nostalgic. The guitar is what gets me

@@sandysmom100 I’m sorry but that’s just not true. Plenty of people my age (I’m 26) enjoy this type of music and other classic music. Please don’t pigeonhole an entire generation based on your assumptions, because you don’t know everyone else’s music tastes. The fact is everyone is different and we all like different things.

My mind is officially blown - I've seen the album cover many times, I heard clips of the chorus from what I can remember. I've never listened to the track the whole way through and I had absolutely no idea how big this track was and still is! 😀
It’s funny you mention that because thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy and the fact I’ve been treated poorly by groups I thought I would fit in and belong to I associate this song with anger and that poor treatment. That’s the simple terms for that anyway.
I have always considered this, along with the End, by the Beatles, as one of the best guitar sequences ever. Amazing when you think that the members of each band were not really getting on with each other. In both csses they seemed to be able to rise above their differences and create pure magic.
I highly recommend Jefferson starship(start with a song called white rabbit it’s a trip) or Cream both are fantastic, also Steve nicks the main female singer of fleetwood Mac also did a lot of solo work also fantastic, as I side note highly recommend you look into the history of this very album it’s called rumours for very good reason and every song has very real and deep meaning once you know it the songs take a very different light but don’t want to spoil that journey for you. Enjoy
Just listen to your local classic hits station and use Shazam to find the song and artist. That's what I would recommend nowadays. However I grew up listening to these tunes on the radio all the time, a good while before Shazam, and when TH-cam was in Infancy
It was 1979 i was 18 years old we drove around in huge old cars we called tanks usually 6 kids per car, We smoked pot and drank cheap wine like maddog 2020, this was one of the songs we blasted on the 8 track player with enhanced speakers. We had great fun and im still alive. Who else remembers?. 🤔
I was two years before you and we would hang out in the parking garage of a mall under construction, blasting music from stereos that had beer caps for knobs. Where does the time go??
I was 9 years old. My Aunt would take grandads old station wagon and we would jam out on this song and go to the "dip" and drive that car as fast as it would go and bottom it out.
If you ever get a chance to see Stevie nicks I highly recommend it, she used to be one of the singers for Fleetwood Mac and she performs a lot of the same songs Fleetwood Mac sung. They put on a hell of a show
Ill never forget the first time I heard Fleetwood Mac. It was there song "Everywhere" and I made my Mum play it on repeat until she was sick of it! This song gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it.
I used to hear this so often growing up and had such a blast singing it with friends and family at different times doing different things. From working in the garden to road trips up into the mountains or even driving down to Florida. Loved experiencing all that.
The bass solo in the middle is epic, and will (in the UK at least) be forever associated with Formula 1 thanks to the BBC using it as the coverage's theme.
It was AMAZING. Every single race you'd get super-hyped once this theme started playing, and afterwards you'd hear the late, great Murray Walker: "Hullo, and welcome to the Nurburgring for the German Grand Prix..." 🥲
@@biru4531It’s a double-edged sword, tbh babes. Any time I hear this song come on and it gets to the iconic bass - without fail - I find myself listening for the whining engines, the screams of the tires and the voice of Murray Walker. Even when I know they’re not gonna be there the absence is jarring, like missing a step on your way downstairs. Needless to say it sort of takes away from the emotional impact of the song. If you want a taste, search “F1, the science of the scream”.

This whole album is legend. I remember listening to it as a child of the 70s on the car 8-track player. Such a great part of growing up.
I've listened to this album as a 90's kid and still do. This album transcends generations and will probably continue to do so. Fun fact a guy (18) I know heard the song in a movie and loved it. Such a banger!

Can never get tired of Stevie Nicks.
At least FMc best album, yes

Incredible tune. Everyone who had a part in this tune was outstanding! From Mick's percussion, to Stevie's vocals! Just Outstanding!
I SO agree!!!
Fleetwood Mac were an exceptional band. Everyone was great.
The bass in the end it's the best Shit Ever Dude
I agree that base riff in the second half of the song is outstanding! It ROCKS!!
For British followers of Formula 1, it's probably the best known bass riff in all music as the BBC used it as a sig tune whrn Murray Walker was the main commentator.
Lindsey Buckingham certainly can shred- one of rocks greatest guitarist- and yet he never gets grouped together with Clapton- Hendrix- or Gilmore- He deserves his due

Sorry
Do you listen to the wind blow, Fleetwood Mac started out as a British blues band with Peter Greene as the star, he died
Love it! I'm 34 year old woman from Poland and got this album on longplay. My favorite❤
My 34 year old daughter also loves this. Only because I would play it over and over again when the kids were young !

This song one of the best in rock history.incredible amazing.
Everybody’s still listening to this song, Fleetwood Mac and the best group I’ve been singing to the group since 1977 amen 🙏
By far, my favorite (Buckingham/Nicks era) Fleetwood Mac song. My job plays a lot of FM music all day long, this is the one song that I never tire of .
Everywhere, and I don't want to know are 🤙🏻👌🏻🤌🏻
A smile does creep unto my face whenever I go into an old song to see the wonderful surprise of the very beginning of the song being the most replayed. One of the best songs in history.
Damn, that bass plucking at the end really gets into the depths of my soul.
Their music is still everything. The sounds wake your senses. Conscious lyrics. Their album covers were 🔥 When people say timeless music, think Fleetwood Mac❤
This song can never be skipped
ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS EVER..
By now I'm sick and tired of it.
This really is an epic tune even now all these yesrs later. I'm here, a 44yr young woman lovin' this track which is still amazing.
I was a freshman in high school when this dropped. We lost our damn minds 🎉
One of the greatest albums EVER made! ❤️🤍💙
RIP Christine McVie! You and Fleetwood Mac were an integral part of my teenage years!! The summers of 77, 78 and 79 were the BEST because of music like this. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️👍❤️❤️
Why hasn't that been better announced?
She's an absolute legend.
Sirius xm radio.... The deep tracks station is currently all FM with a focus on CM. it's freaking amazing. I've been a fan since about 1976 (I was 14)and I've been hearing tons of tracks that I either never heard or forgotten about.
That band. Dayum. And Christine was as integral a part of the songwriting, harmonies, performance, and vibes, of any of them.
Her legacy will remain, carved into the living hearts of all of us
Yeah I'm so sad that she died; I've looked up to her ever since I was an 8th grader in 2019. And dang, she really nails that high harmony!
RIP Peter Green. One of the founders of Fleetwood Mac. Always love this song and others
RIP ~RESPECT
RIP and thank you for your art
RIP rest in peace 😔
When did he die?
When?
This is one of the songs that reaches deep down into my soul. The instrumental pieces are phenomenal. They just don’t make music like this anymore. ❤
They still make songs like this you know you just have to listen. Today's musicians get a hard rap but it is more difficult for them to be original. They can only be good.
What Star Lord mains hear when they cast their Ult.

This song means so much to me and I wasn’t a fan of Fleetwood Mac until I heard this song almost 50 years after it came out.
The guitar is what gets me
They must be drunk deaf or both 😀
They know nothing about classic music that will never die 💯. THE younger generation only knows the garbage that is put out now .They only know about autotune. They don't understand back in the day the singers crafted their art painfully and with raw talent !!
@@sandysmom100 I’m sorry but that’s just not true. Plenty of people my age (I’m 26) enjoy this type of music and other classic music. I personally listen to music from the 1950s-80s as well as earlier and some classical. I appreciate the artistry that went into this music.

The entire album is a masterpiece!
You know this song was birthed through the break ups in the band. Pain makes powerful songs, especially when Fleetwood Mac is involved.
It’s funny you mention that because thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy and the fact I’ve been treated poorly by groups I thought I would fit in and belong to I associate this song with anger and that poor treatment. That’s the simple terms for that anyway.
This song has a bit of everything and I love it.
I have always considered this, along
with the End, by the Beatles, as one of the best guitar sequences ever. Amazing when you think that the members of each band were not really getting on with each other. In both csses they seemed to be able to rise above their differences and create pure magic.
The fact that I just found this song few weeks ago makes me angry , how many great songs are hiding out there ? will I ever find them ?
Just look up songs from the 60s and 70s. There's a goldmine of music to be found there

The best music ever written is from the 70s and 90s. The 60s were great, the 80s were great but seriously people need this... THIS!
I just found that out now and I'm actually a little sad I didn't grow up in the uk lol
I would have never found the original song if it wasn't for Shazam.
It was AMAZING.
Every single race you'd get super-hyped once this theme started playing, and afterwards you'd hear the late, great Murray Walker:
"Hullo, and welcome to the Nurburgring for the German Grand Prix..." 🥲
Not many people know that this was used for formula 1. Kudos
