I think the original song is largely a 2 chord song consisting of the E and A chords. However, this version has a capo, so he is most likely playing the equivalent chords further up the fret board. It also sounds like he has used a minor chord here or there in his own interpretation of this great classic song.
@Roger Daly you are correct. He is playing the E chord plus an open A chord further up the fret board. It does sound like there is a minor chord in there somewhere also.
Aaahhhh! This is awesome!! Great cover of one of my favorite songs ever

@@simonandthelyricalpoets I'm not seeing a capo on the neck unless its right up against the nut. He may also be in an alternate tuning.

@@simonandthelyricalpoets I think there is an F#m in there on the verse
@@rogerdaly6326 thank you
Nice.
John Murphy would approve.
Ohh yes! This is the comment I've been looking for
Please please please!!!! We need these chords… sounds like some kind of alternate tuning??
i need the chords!
E and A mostly - the A being played as an open chord (eg without the barre) on the 7th fret with an E shape (as far as I can tell).
Where is the raw passion. Sounds so weak and colourless.
