Wildlife World Zoo's new Sea Lion Exhibit

Glendale Councilmember Gary Sherwood, Sahuaro District, returns to the West Valley’s Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium in his new edition of the TV show “Glendale Today”. This time around the show highlights the zoo’s four-building aquarium and marine life with special guest Dr. Grey Stafford, Director of Conservation & Communications at the zoo.
Dr. Stafford takes Councilmember Sherwood on a behind-the-scenes tour of the aquarium, highlighting the zoo’s newest exhibit, the California Sea Lion habitat known as Shipwreck Cove. The pirate-themed attraction and educational show includes an outdoor pool, public seating and viewing area. They are the first sea lions on permanent display in Arizona in about 40 years! Also discussed are the educational programs for the many school children who visit the park located near the Loop 303 and Northern Parkway. Councilmember Sherwood joins in on the fun of feeding the sea lions and gets up close and personal with a baby sea otter!
