daisy diaz I’ve gotten this done to me before! They usually fill half way to do color matching and then fill the bottle when you have your correct shade so it wastes less.
I work at Sephora & that scanner looks just like the Color IQ machine we use. Very similar concept except the Color IQ then tells you your perfect shade in various brands. It’s pretty spot-on!

So the match that came back from me on Makeup Forever’s Ultra HD foundation was Y255 (sand beige) which is pretty darn perfect.
when she swatch on drew face, i thought the foundation was bit lighter than her skin.. but it blends her skin very well.. the only thing i don't like it is the price is crazy expensive ALSO, what if someone who have redness or acne skin, will that effect the color of the foundation?
I don't think any blemishes or redness would effect the color matching at all, because they asked where you wanted to be scanned, so the foundation would match the appropriate shade of your skin.
I just had the best idea!!! Since Drew loves glitter so much, you guys should go to Lemonhead Los Angeles and create your own space paste (glitter paste)!!!!!! The CEO, Megan, is so sweet!

Jill, the reason people normally recommend concealer after foundation is because you are concealing the spots that need more coverage. Once you apply the foundation, you can see the areas that need to be more concealed and use your concealer.
