Here’s all the information that I have that has helped me, so I hope this helps! I went on findation and was surprised to be matched with about half of the same things you were matched with because based on your videos, I've always thought you were lighter than me. It wasn't until you turned off your ring light at the end of the video that I realized lighting is everything and we're actually very similar in skin tone.

I believe I am a neutral undertone. Never thought to check my foundation to see if they list the undertone, so thank you for that. I usually mix my foundations to get a better shade. Both of those 1st 2 foundations actually fit your skin tone 👌🏽 So mad I missed your giveaway 🤦🏽♀️

If you are Fenty 385 try Kampala 340. That’s a shade that matched me and I can also use 400 Ethiopia.

What do you mean when you say that it oxidizes? I'm sorry that I don't know. Lol! I'm completely new to makeup. Trying to learn.
oxidizes basically means when the foundation combines with oxygen and it will get a little darker once the foundation settles on the skin.

my veins are green, but i have a yellow undertone but i tan easily so i look brown with a yellow undertone but my neck is yellow undertone. what shade do i need??
it sounds like you should go with something that has a yellow undertone.

I tried to use findation, but I’ve never used concealer or foundation, I’m new to make up and they don’t have a option to say N/A
When you apply foundation is it suppose to look like you have no makeup on?
it just depends on the look you are going for!
Why do you go 2 shades deeper for your concealers? I’m actually curious because as a beginner I watch so many other videos and they go lighter
1-2 shades lighter for concealer, 1-2 shades darker for contour. (you can use concealer products to contour)

I finally found my foundation shade in e.l.f. which is Brulee, but I'm having trouble finding my concealer shade in e.l.f. When I put in my e.l.f. foundation shade, it says I'm Rich Walnut in e.l.f. concealer shade, but I believe that would be too dark for me. I have e.l.f. concealer shade Deep Olive but that might be too light for me. I think I'm Deep Chestnut for e.l.f. concealer since that came up when I put in my Mented Cosmetics foundation shade T30. Please help, Slim!
so if you put in your foundation shade, its going to match the concealer to that shade, so i would recommend doing a shade or two lighter than rich walnut and check the undertones to make sure they align

So if you're gray then you're yellow? Because I'm definitely gray a lot of the time. I don't think I'm very greenish but Gray yes.
if you undertone is gray-ish i'd think you may be neutral undertones? im not 100% sure
@@SlimReshae I'm great especially when I tan. When I don't can. Not really. honestly my skin tends to look dim sometimes though. When I'm wider skin it's just dim. Not really anything to it. But if you tear my arm around you can see under yellow undertone and have green then so I think with makeup I just tend to go more for the yellow or neutral but not really red because I mean I don't have blue veins so I don't really do red undertones at all. That's all I know.
Here's a method I made up (idk if it works yet cause I haven't bought any foundation yet😅) ok so take a picture of yourself on your phone then click edit then go to the dropper then put it on your neck area take that color and color it on the side and then....BAM💥 you found your foundation color
Now like I said idk if this works cause I haven't bought a foundation but try it and see if this works for you😁

The charts are all confusing. Some say warm is red, others say yellow is warm, and one even said greenish veins are yellow undertones. I just stick to neutral. Warm is too red, yellow is too orange looking.
