    You've got perch dialed right in! Pro Tip- to expedite release and drop down ASAP on an active school while using beaded spoons- don't touch the fish, grab the spoon, invert, and vibrate dropping your fish into your keeper pile or back down the hole.

    Just found your videos I like them, subbed. Watching all the ice fishing lately makes me want to move east. Thought we had it perfect out west but our fishings slow. - Scott.

    The ARCTIC BLAST one man ice shelter I own is starting to wear out and they don't make one man units anymore. What make is your shelter? Great going with those perch.

    Don't know how you can fish without a flasher, having tried them before!!
    Didn't seem like it mattered on this occasion..but still..??...lol
    Vexilar or not going!!!

    • @ProFishermanJones
      @ProFishermanJones  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ahaha vexilar or nothing. I know the feeling. I feel very confident catching certain species with out electronics. You wouldn't find me lake trout fishing on Lake Simcoe with out a vexilar, thats for sure!

      I''m not mad enough at 'em yet to be concerned ..their predictable..

    You don't use a transducer? Also what kind of spoon was that did you tip the hook with something? Would I be able to use a small swedish pimple to get them like that? Sorry for all the questions. I'm really getting into ice fishing recently! Hopefully your can respond!

    • @ProFishermanJones
      @ProFishermanJones  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sweedish pimples has a slight different action than a flutter spoon and kens hook style spoon! The hook has a bead usually red or orange on it to attract the fish!
