Hey everyone! We're pleased to bring you another vlog from our trip to Japan! There's quite a mix of stuff in this one, including our visit to the awesome gashapon conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Ikebukuro! Let us know what you think and have a great day!
Near Nakano Broadway is a huge Daiso ¥100 store, as well as a Don Quijote (www.japanvisitor.com/tokyo-area-guides/nakanobroadway and www.nbw.jp/#!). We tried the conveyor belt sushi on the same floor as Round1 Odaiba, and it was OK. There's also a nice Daiso on the same floor. Doing a search on Google maps for Kura Sushi in Ikebukuro also brought up over a dozen other sushi restaurants in the area, including another Kura Sushi on Sunshine 60 street (6th floor of the San-Tropez building!). We are heading for Saigon in January, and there are a few arcades there.
Aww...I'm so sad y'all didn't get a gachapon! The food looked absolutely delicious and what a cool concept to have the conveyors bring your food. I'm definitely gonna save up to visit Japan cause it looked like you two had an amazing time there.
I was literally lying in wait for this to upload 😆 Nakano Broadway is great but depressing when you see plushies for sale cheaper than the amount you put into a UFO catcher to win them! 😂 you are right though, it’s all about the satisfaction of winning 👌🏻
Lol! It's so true - we saw so many prizes at Nakano Broadway for really, really cheap :o But we aren't actually all that into the prizes themselves - it's more about figuring out a solution to the problems a UFO catcher presents!
Mixed vlog goodness fresh off the workstation for ya! Hardest part about that day was fitting in everything - we still had to film some full arcade videos, so we didn't get to the sushi place until past 9PM XD

Hey guys. I saw that Snorlax wrapped up in plastic. You see, one of the main things that I'm hoping to get for Christmas is a pair of Snorlax slippers. And speaking of Christmas, I had time to set up my Christmas tree and lights during my break from school. And I should also point out that I thought that food was good, although I have never been to Japan before in my life. My parents can't even afford to buy plane tickets for us to fly somewhere else. I felt like I was in Pokémon heaven while watching this video.
I love that my kids can watch you both...and I have been watching some of your older fair and carnival and I just laugh so hard sometimes (Good reasons, no worries), and I need to laugh sometimes like that!
This is one of my favourite episode, because it has so much food!! :3 I wish I could be in Japan, I'd go broke in a day with food, merch, and trying out claw machines.xD

Whenever I can go to Japan I'll definitely have to go to that sushi place. With my luck I'll probably end up ordering a ton of food and getting one on the first 5 plates.

You are lucky you didn't get yelled at. Lol I got in trouble because they thought I was recording in a store/restaurant. A lot of places in Japan don't allow recordings 😬 Toyko was my favorite trip though! So many fun things to try.
I've been watching so many of your videos lately, I finally decided to try the ufo catchers at the Round 1 in Concord, where I live. My boyfriend who has never won anything won three prizes on his first attempts, and I won five total, three of them on first attempts! Mostly because I've been watching and learning how to push the prizes instead of trying to pick them up. So yay! I have my own Rilakkuma collection now.
Omg! I legit have one of those old school 'fat' pikachu 1:39 that I won from a crane machine here in the states lol! I always love seeing your vlogs, they are so awesome!
My husband and I hit up the Kula here in Cuppertino every time we head to Round1 in San Jose. I know it takes 15 plates to win a gashapon in American Kula -- I kept seeing "20" next to the gashapon machine in your video. Maybe it's 20 plates? or is it random?
We were wondering if it was set to a specific number, but the table across the aisle from us dropped well over 30 plates (you can hear them dropping them in near the end of our video!) and they didn't get anything :( So it must just be a random small chance to win one. Another table was cheering before we left so we know it's possible to win!!
It's always been 15 whenever I've been to Kula. But, I always ate at the bar which can be 1 person. With tables, it could hold up to 4 people. So, the number of plates needed at a table may be skewed higher by assuming 4 people, where the bar is much lower to win. I always got one at the 15th plate, though.
I want to eat there it looks so yummy ugg i need to see if they have a resturant like that here. I know im planning to go to japan in the next year or 2 and i just keep adding things i wanna do from these videos.
I been watching all your Japanese vids. I'm so glad you guys got to visit again. I went for the 2nd time in August for my birthday. I attended a concert in japan. It was a great experiance. That restaurant you went too looked awesome. What was it called? I miss the food so much, it's so good. We lack Japanese restaurants here in the UK.
Easy - we pretty much ran out of luggage space before the end of the first week, so we told ourselves to either slow down or spend hundreds on shipping stuff back to the states XD
Pretty awesome to see Kula in Cali is exactly like in Japan except it probably tatses better there but in Cali youre guaranteed a prize after 15 plates 😛😛😛😛
they have that resturant in San Diego too. it is called Kula Revolving Sushi. But for some reason Japan is much cheaper than in San Diego, or LA. it is 100 yen a plate for japan, but in San diego/LA, it is about 2.50

if you looked at the capsule area you will see it said 20, i believe you eat 20 plates get 1 capsule.
