Great show! Mr. Hildenbrant made some great points! The end of that game was bizarre and yes a slow motion train wreck! I still like this team and coach! Go Irish ☘️

Furtuna is clueless. There are plenty of ND fans and ND people pissed about losing that game. Not saying they are calling for anyone's job but does he actually think that all they care about is good ratings etc. Sounds ridiculous.

How tone deaf can you be? We love MF, but people are furious

I just don’t understand how the LBs didn’t know that they had a lineman missing right in front of them. It’s right in front of them. Take a gamble and jump the snap at the very least

Returning starters who are fifth year senior LBs no less. Most of the Kelly era upperclassmen are decidedly not positive playmakers . Go Irish

Why is Ty's blinking so weird? It's like the slowest blink I've ever seen. He seems either very relaxed or maybe "very relaxed" :D

The last 4 minutes ND played not to lose instead of playing to win. Never a wise plan

Prior to Saturday's loss, the preponderance of punditry was predicting that Notre Dame would make the playoffs with one loss given the difficulty of its schedule. Now we are to believe that a one-loss Notre Dame that beats undefeated Duke, undefeated Louisville, sixth-ranked USC, and coffins Clemson in Death Valley misses the playoff? Especially if Ohio State runs a Boston and knocks off Penn State, Michigan, and wins the BIG10. Say nothing of the carnage that we are about to witness in the PAC12 (the chances of any of those teams escaping undefeated are pretty slim given the parity in that conference). Something similar will transpire in the BIG10 given the rise of Penn State. And an ACC favorite (FSU) that shares opponents with Notre Dame (Clemson, Duke, Wake, and Pitt) - I think more than gives the fighting Irish a fighting chance.

Most of those folks are speaking mainly on emotion. Notre Dame didn't beat Ohio State, so the naysayers are determined that Notre Dame will not make the playoffs in spite of what you've logically shown.

9-3 and a one game improvement from 2022 with Hartman is a disappointment IMO

I agree about the vibes and the product being positive and enjoyable. Totally true. Not comparing, but just cautioning: so was the first year of Weis (who also had a narrow loss at home in green jerseys).

There is a clear answer are players did not make plays when they needed too! That blame goes across the board from QB to Kicker and everything in between, simple.

I don’t know who the h*ll Matt Fortuna is listening to, but I haven’t heard *any* ND fans cheering the game and the “number of tv views” ND got. Fortuna = Some of the worst ND takes ever.

Beyond the blunders at the end of the game, ND has one big problem. They are getting very little production from the outside receivers. How much evidence does Parker need before he makes adjustments right away rather than the 2nd half? I don’t know if it’s lack of talent or scheme, but only the TEs and slot receivers get open. Where was Holden Staes? He looked like a NFL talent against NC St. Both TEs need to be on the field at the same time.

Daly already knew he was gonna get fired if he lost to ND after the looses to Michigan that is what really had him fired up not Lou holze

The terrible things Tim May said about Notre Dame and the whole Ohio State fan base has been just dogging Notre Dame. How do they end up with bulletin board material baffles me. I can't stand Ohio State.

@@bluehu It was college football nation on Spotify. But let him come on the podcast and he just totally run Notre Dame in the dirt. Way worse than what Lou Holtz did. But yeah Spotify. College football nation the day before the game the night before the game. Yeah it's awful

WellI mean Estime was clearly the least productive back all night. He was the only one out there dancing in the hole while the other backs seemed to be running with reckless abandon. The coaching staff clearly lost confidence in Estime. His best run was that 11 yard run on the last drive, otherwise, he was very mediocre all night.

14/70, 5 yds per carry wasn’t bad at all. I think stylistically Love created problems beyond the los because he was more evasive

Estime was hesitating in the first half but was better in the second. O line opening up Grand Canyon holes that need to be leveraged. Need some burners on the sidelines. Only 3 WRs dressing tonight. Expect a big game from Evans and Staes.
