I'm having trouble to play any tune quickly, at the normal speed that is, apart from a Scottish march I've found and one or 2 easy bits. And often when playing the D string the G string gets in the way, and I play the 2 at the same time ! I must be more careful..
I need to start training more seriously soon. Have been studying and working a lot these past two years, geting my teaching diploma! I'll soon ad some new melodies!
I'm going to listen to your videos see what you've done up to now, myself I try to play lots of different tunes, I sometimes think I should work more seriously on one piece only, but I always want to try out a tune. I'm too curious. So what will your next piece be?....
At the moment I don't know what would be my next piece. But I think I will add some new ones in the beginning of this summer. Now when it comes to bowing I just go by ear at the moment. I'll try to find on TH-cam this girl who explains how it should be done. Anyway I am glad to be an inspiration!

Thx. I have the Swedish tuning CGCA. Playing two cords at the same time is giving the melody more 'power' as it is like playing a bardun or chords.

Never played violin and the bowing technique, as far as I am concerned, is slightly different mainly shorter strokes.
