I've recently had this problem. After 2 days of trying to charge it I was seconds from throwing it in the bin. I then thought my final try woud be with my Sony fast charge plug & cable. I was shocked to see the watch suddenly come to life and start charging. It was like it needed a jump start! I then reconnected it to its original cable and the plug I had been using and it continues to charge normally. Just Saying. It may work for you.
I had the same issue with an Honor Band 5, bought from India 3 years back. A few weeks back, it completely looked dead and I tried a lot of ways to charge it and turn it on. Did not work. Searched a lot on the internet and tried all suggestions. Showed it to service technicians and they could not do anything. I cleaned and tested the charging dock pins with a multimeter and found it was working and showing voltage readings. Yesterday, I was about to throw the watch in the garbage thinking it is dead. Luckily, I remembered that I had the charger dock of my old Honor Band 3 somewhere in the house. I searched for it and found it. I connected the charger and waited for a few minutes and DANG! the watch came alive. To all those who came here searching for resolution to Honor Band issue, IT IS THE FAULT OF YOUR CHARGING DOCK! YOUR WATCH IS NOT DEAD. DON'T THROW IT AWAY. JUST TRY WITH ANOTHER CHARGING DOCK!
I charged with high voltage charger so could be the problem. But after cleaning the contacts and charging with normal charger. It is working fine. but display sometimes goes and comes back.

I had not charged for so many days. I thought battery died. But when I changed charging cable and 100w adopter instead of reguler, it was switched on. Don't know what happened, just followed the above.
I think i killed my band😢😢. I tried making an improvised charger for it, & when I put it there, it smelt, and never charged again😢😢 Can I fix that?! Ever?
Yes.. use only compatible charger. Display issue of going black again and again is still there. U need to shake the watch to bring the display back .. 😀

I ordered a new dock today and still, no luck.

Itry to dry it with drayer for about 5 min then plug it in the charger it worked but the problem appear again and again

The hairdryer trick works. Not a good sign ~ suggests soldering problem I expect.
Shake the watch again and again till the display gets back .. only solution !! Sad !!

Guys try this trick put your watch as it is for 5-7 days and then charge your watch it will work👍
