The Scripture enjoined us to earnestly content for the for the faith. That would mean, correcting such unbiblical teachings on tithe and the like. But as you said, he has become unnecessarily philosophical. If he is not careful, he would become oontentious and irrelevant. My discomfort with most of them is that they are not ministering to the need and situation of the Church in Nigeria. A country saddled with corruption, evil, oppression and wickedness, the pastors appear unconcerned. They don't even understand that Muslim are determined to Islamize Nigeria.
The most high God does not belong to any Religion. He only wants you to put your faith to work and also do 2 things- love your neighbours as yourself and workshop only the most high God. This is true for all religions. The rest is fake.
