I'm autistic too and (one of) my special interests is puzzles too! I'm not nowhere near him because I don't have the money and a place to do big puzzles (my biggest one is 1500 pieces lol, but I can go up to 3k in my dinning table if I could convince my mom) and they are not even sold here, but my dream is to have enough money, space and time to do 3 specific ones: Magical Bookcase (18k, by Ravensburger ~books are another special interest) Life (24k by Educa) And this Disney one! Probably they won't be available anymore anywhere when I can buy them, but a girl can dream, right? I'm so happy he has all the resources to do it tho, I really know the feeling he gets and it's magical!
I'd love to do this puzzle! But, I dont have the $300+ to drop on a puzzle and I dont have anywhere near enough wall space to put that up 😂. It looks incredible though.
I have seen this for sale, a while back. But to me the main and ONLY reason I didn't buy it was I had no place to put it all together; nor a place to display it once done. Frankly, I don't understand why this would be considered difficult to put together. You get them, as I recall, in bags of like 4,000 pieces and you put together one section at a time. Maybe he did this in a record time? The really only difficulty is having the $$ to buy and the space to put it together.
@@kennethlee2278 does your ableism makes it *that* easy for you to say that? I mean, of all the things you could've said... You said this??? Man, you really need to do more research in reliable sources!
Where does he put them together? There is not enough room nor big enough tables to do more than 2000 Piece Puzzles in most homes. Some people can only put together 1,500 Pieced Jigsaw puzzles in apartments and tiny houses.
Look into Karen Puzzles' videos, she does big puzzles (like 24k divided in 4 sections of 6k) and has a lot of tips and answers for this question! But, spoiler: you can use foam boards to extend your existing space, or do it as they come in the boxes: in smaler sections (this one specifically comes in 10 bags with 4032 pieces each!)
They call it a disability but it’s been shown that often times this “disability” actually creates a superhuman mental cognition for some specific processes. It’s like the movie rain man was actually based on an actual person Kim Peek whom could recall almost everything he had ever read instantly!! And it’s speculated that he had read around 9000 books!!! He could also instantly tell you what day of the week it was at any specific date in history. When I say we shouldn’t call it a disability I’m not saying that from a social justice warrior standpoint, or some political correctness standpoint, I say that because in some VERY SPECIFIC ways 99.999% of the human race are MENTALLY INFERIOR to some of these people on the grandest of scales. Calling them disabled isn’t only inaccurate, in some ways its simply diametrically opposed to reality.
A lot of people mix the bags and do it like one giant puzzle. We don't know his approach, so you can't say it like this. Don't be this kind of person, please.
Love you! Don't ever let your diagnosis define who you are! 💛💛
I just bought this puzzle and plan to start on it tomorrow. Really looking forward to it.
Hiya, how is it going? Any progress?
I post updates every Monday. I also have an album for the 18,000 piece world map puzzle by ravensburger.
Hey, did you completed it? I can't find you anywhere!
@@kennethlee2278 how is it going? haha
This is really amazing I wonder how do you even go about framing it
It looks like they have it glued to a big piece of wood.

Congratulations you played yourself
@@tedofuentes6525 the autism makes it easy. Puzzles like that are only a challenge for people who don't have it.

For like the big mural, he would do it section by smaller sections and fit all of the sections together. Still would need a ton of room though.

If you are not autistic please don't speak like this about us, thank you. This is very ableist.

No
How do you frame such a thing?
Yeah, framing it would be expensive, and hard
good job
Imagine missing a piece
this puzzles me
It’s gonna take 5 months or 10 months 😟
No es un puzzle de 40.320 piezas. Son 10 puzzles de 4032 piezas. NO es, para nada, lo mismo. No engañen a la gente.
estoy de acuerdo
