@@jesussaves5354 I am not questioning Mr Woods integrity or his relationship with the Lord. I grew up believing much of what he teaches. I was saved at a Baptist summer camp at 14. But growing up, some teachings just didn't make sense. For example, everlasting burning hell. Think it thru. How could one preach such a thing ....millions and billions and trillions of years burning and never burning up? And then, in the same breath, God is love?? I just had a hard time making those 2 ideas fit? We are living in serious times. I do not question anyone's faith, I can't read the heart. As far as the positions they hold, please consider John 7:45-48 with special consideration to verse 48.

Due to His infinite nature, He's also true and just and righteous and pure and so on... He can't live in the presence of sinful people that reject Him. I don't fully understand it all either but it seems to be the way it is. Thankfully, there is a solution through Jesus Christ (who solves that heaven/hell/sin problem).

I also attend virtually [since 2019] due to the wokeness of the local "churches". I've been with the Calvary Chapels in California [am] & Hawaii [pm] (Hibbs/Farag), alternating my tithes each month. Nevertheless, was curious about your experience here. I've found no fault in his teachings yet, but only a hand full of them in. Maranatha_
I'm getting more opposition from believers rejecting or holding off Rapture. They are confused and grumpy. But we are excited for Jesus soon appearing.
I am convinced these voices of dissent are coming from churches still carrying false doctrine from the RCC. Catholics do not believe in the rapture at all because it bypasses purgatory and thus the RCC would lose too much money on indulgences. Plenty, if not most churches, still carry RCC baggage from the Protestant Reformation. It did not go far enough. It's up to us to rid ourselves of all RCC doctrine and tradition once and for all.

Many of the pretribulation only take the new testament version, there are verses in the prophets in the Old Testament that refute this. Isiah 57:1 for instance. God does not leave his children behind ever.
Jesus promised tribulation which is different than wrath...MATTHEW 24 He tells us that HE will remove the Saints in the middle of the great tribulation.. tribulation is suffering JESUS said to join with HIM in His sufferings

jCentricity JC The reference to two in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left. I was confused about that passage myself. However, that is not a Rapture passage. It is in Matthew 24:40. That chapter speaks about Christ’s actual second coming or The Day of the Lord. I think it is referring to the angels reaping the wheat from the tears in judgement. I wish Pastor Woods could answer that question.

I have too!! I had to cut them off from my social media. I eve asked God to change my belief if I’m wrong about the rapture and I honestly printed off scriptures supporting both sides and I still remain steadfast in my belief of what The scriptures show
There was no pre tribulation rapture doctrine prior to Nelson Darby in the nineteenth century. Don't be deceved by Jesuits, Masons and Rosicrucians, they flood the congregation and mislead with apostate doctrine such as dispensationalism. Beware so called "Christian" holidays featuring fertility symbols like eggs, rabbits trees (phallic symbol) and "balls" hanging from said tree. Pray for discernment.

Andy is a great teacher who rightly divides the Word of Truth. This is a poignant message for the times we're in. The Rapture is our Blessed Hope and it's drawing ever nearer.
The rapture and the second coming of Christ are often confused. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a scripture verse is referring to the rapture or the second coming. However, in studying end-times Bible prophecy, it is very important to differentiate between the two. The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. The rapture is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16. The important differences between the rapture and second coming are as follows: 1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14). 2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6-19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41). 4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30). 5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6-18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54). Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct? 1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, the return of Christ is not imminent-there are many things which must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30). 3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6-19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation-also called “the time of trouble for Jacob” (Jeremiah 30:7)-God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31). The rapture and second coming are similar but separate events. Both involve Jesus returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary, the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire. VERY good teaching brother woods. Liz, the pre trib doctrine only sets you up for disappointment..its easier to believe it because you dont have to think of going through tribulation but Jesus said in the world we will have tribulation. The funny thing is I had a rapture dream when I was just 17 and kinda had an idea of what it was but never knew JESUS... took a couple of years, I was blessed to have had that dream 23 years ago 🕊🕊

Most of the town is either Catholic or Lutheran for starters, then most Pastors don't teach prophecy or Revelation. It's very frustrating my brother!! Shallow and watered down teaching. Yes, this is a common problem in many churches. So sad, because people go to church to get the truth but get a weak, watered down version of Christianity ... and then certain Christians wonder why others have stopped going to church. 🤦♀️ I’m so tired of elaborate traditions and not enough truth. Since the Bible is about 1/4 prophecy shouldn’t pastors be focusing on teaching Bible prophecy on a regular basis? Just give me the real meat, already. I believe the rapture because if I wake up thinking Jesus may pluck me out of my existence at any moment, then its just one more reason to devote my moments here to Christ. Its just another reason to fear God (in a good way because he is so Holy).
How do you get invisible from 1 Thess 4:16 _For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first._ Where is the invisible part?

Very well presented. I am Anglican (NOT Episcopalian), and I cannot see why ANYONE who believes scripture to be inspired can fail to believe in the rapture of the Church as separate from the return of Christ in Rev 19.
Another interesting point about the quarantine happening now: In the past, the idea of the rapture troubled me a tiny bit, because *if the world was carrying on like normal,* the sudden disappearance of millions around the world would cause many tragedies. (Planes without pilots falling from the sky, driverless cars crashing, etc...) This quarantine seems like something God would prepare as part of the solution to this. It will minimize the number of accidents and many of the dangers to those left behind when we are caught up.
Well I can't wait to meet Abraham, David... Moses the meekest man to have ever lived... Stephen the first to have died in Christ, Ruth, Leah, Paul, John, Peter, Jude... too many to mention; but most of all my eyes will first look for my King and Saviour whom I have loved and longed for for as long as I can remember.

Several years ago, when I was a Roman Catholic, I was at a service where the priest tried to use the argument that there was no rapture because the word rapture didn't appear in scripture, but neither is the word trinity, but he never discussed that!
The Catholics have no knowledge of Scripture because most of them do not read their Bible. They believe the lies of the priests and just believe whatever they are told. They pray to Mary (idolatry) who is dead, they think the pope is "holy," which he is a demon, and they call priests "father," which is forbidden in Matthew 23:9. I'm go happy to hear you believe the truth of the rapture.... See you in the clouds soon.
Mark, the Romans (RCC) translated “Rapture” as “Rapturo.” The New Testament written in Greek translates “Rapture” as “Harpazo” and refers to the speedy catching away of the Body of Christ/ Church out of this world. 🎺 ⛅️ 🕊 🙌🏻 👑
Just found this on youtube and this teaching is so plain and clear. You are doing an excellent job of teaching in a clear way to understand. I was always taught this way about the rapture and when i read the bible and all the scriptures that tell about the rapture i understand it plainly. I just dont see how anyone can even say there is a mid-trib or a post-trib when the word of God makes it so plain to see. I am so excited about the rapture of the church and can see that this is the generation who will see him coming in the clouds because never in history would it have made sence as it does today! Everyone lets look up for our redemption draws nigh praise the Lord!!
One thing that seems weird to me is that we get our new bodies after the rapture, then we come back to earth for the 1000 reign of Christ ... and live among regular humans who are still marrying and having babies ... and dying. We'll be walking through walls and not marrying, while they're living like we do now. It's so odd.
@@samsamsam82 Yeah, I've put it in the "too hard" basket. There's enough happening today that's blowing my mind with how it's just what the Bible said would happen, so I'm still pre-trib. My thirty year old son is not a believer, and it's freaky to think if he survives the 7 year trib as a new believer and has chlidren, I'll be a grandmother who never ages, and I'll see 1000 years of my lineage, if they also marry and have children! Peculiar in the extreme, but I do secretly daydream about how wonderful that would be.

I believe we are taken, I just don’t know if before of after, what I do know for certain is that happens, “when all these things are happening, look up because your redemption draws near!”, so yes, the world is more than insane now. Also, I think about all our brethren that have gone though tribulation, and gotten martyred for it, they are also part of the church and so I don’t know why would we be so special as not live the tribulation? @@samsamsam82 I hear you! We in the west have had it easy for so long, hey. Several countries are dreadful places to be a Christian today. I have also thought as you stated, but then if that followed through, all the Christians in Christendom, from the Georgian period (Jane Austen's time) through to the 1950's ... what of true believers then! That was a long period of no hard Christian persecution. We are not appointed to God's wrath, and we are to "comfort one another with these words." They _were_ suffering under man's wrath, but it was a comfort to them that they would not suffer God's wrath. I know what you mean, however, that you want to be prepared for whatever tribulation may come. My son refuses to have anything to do with me, because I could not lie and tell him that gay ... things are not a sin, when he pressed me for an answer. My favourite aunt is on his side and just mocked me at a family gathering by pretending to be terrified of me when she said sh*t. These kinds of things strengthen our resolve to withstand harsher persecution, as much as they break our heart. Because it's really Jesus they hate, first. xo

We're not seeing a focus on the tribulation, rapture, or end-times Bible prophecy in the Christian churches today, but give it a minute. With events starting to heat up in frequency and intensity, I think the church is about to be jolted awake. When that happens, the church won't be able to shut up about Bible prophecy. We'll be hearing about it all the time; not only in the churches, but all through our society. That will probably trigger the end-time re-awakening.

Wouldn't there be a world wide panic after the rapture? I ask this because I would think that all children and the mental handicap would taken as well as the church, right? A lot of unbelievers would go crazy seeing their kids sudden disappear.
exactly then the governments will say they were taken by aliens which will cause the people on earth to think that the 2nd coming is aliens thats why they will fight against christ 2nd coming when it happens...
When Jesus comes back, the children will be resurrected and meet Jesus in the air. It will happen after the tribulation but before the wrath. It is exactly true the children will not face God's wrath, but will endure tribulation while on earth.
Then explain how Isiah 57:1 says they will be gone before the wrath. Wrath and tribulation are the same word. Departure and falling away were the same word when it was translated.
@Mark Prowatzke Yes it is the same thing. Jesus' 2nd coming NOT to earth is to Rapture His Church. When Jesus comes to the Earth, it is called the Day of the Lord. Read your Bible.
Michael Wall actually there is. Just have to dig deeper into translation. The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse used the word rapturo. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.

Due to His infinite nature, He's also true and just and righteous and pure and so on... He can't live in the presence of sinful people that reject Him. I don't fully understand it all either but it seems to be the way it is. Thankfully, there is a solution through Jesus Christ (who solves that heaven/hell/sin problem).

I am convinced these voices of dissent are coming from churches still carrying false doctrine from the RCC. Catholics do not believe in the rapture at all because it bypasses purgatory and thus the RCC would lose too much money on indulgences. Plenty, if not most churches, still carry RCC baggage from the Protestant Reformation. It did not go far enough. It's up to us to rid ourselves of all RCC doctrine and tradition once and for all.
They even say, "pre-tribulation rapture is a lie that comes from the pit of hell."

Many of the pretribulation only take the new testament version, there are verses in the prophets in the Old Testament that refute this. Isiah 57:1 for instance. God does not leave his children behind ever.
But can you back it up with scripture? Where is the rapture mentioned....what verses?

jCentricity JC The reference to two in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left. I was confused about that passage myself. However, that is not a Rapture passage. It is in Matthew 24:40. That chapter speaks about Christ’s actual second coming or The Day of the Lord. I think it is referring to the angels reaping the wheat from the tears in judgement. I wish Pastor Woods could answer that question.

There was no pre tribulation rapture doctrine prior to Nelson Darby in the nineteenth century. Don't be deceved by Jesuits, Masons and Rosicrucians, they flood the congregation and mislead with apostate doctrine such as dispensationalism. Beware so called "Christian" holidays featuring fertility symbols like eggs, rabbits trees (phallic symbol) and "balls" hanging from said tree. Pray for discernment.

The rapture and the second coming of Christ are often confused. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a scripture verse is referring to the rapture or the second coming. However, in studying end-times Bible prophecy, it is very important to differentiate between the two.
The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. The rapture is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16.
The important differences between the rapture and second coming are as follows:
1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14).
2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6-19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).
3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41).
4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30).
5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6-18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54).
Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct?
1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).
2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, the return of Christ is not imminent-there are many things which must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30).
3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6-19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation-also called “the time of trouble for Jacob” (Jeremiah 30:7)-God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31).
The rapture and second coming are similar but separate events. Both involve Jesus returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary, the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire.

When I was around 8years old, I had my first and only rapture dream. I had no idea what that was at that time, because i didnt even grow up learning about this teaching...I'm now 30 years old and this is my blessed hope!

Most of the town is either Catholic or Lutheran for starters, then most Pastors don't teach prophecy or Revelation.

Yes, this is a common problem in many churches. So sad, because people go to church to get the truth but get a weak, watered down version of Christianity ... and then certain Christians wonder why others have stopped going to church. 🤦♀️ I’m so tired of elaborate traditions and not enough truth. Since the Bible is about 1/4 prophecy shouldn’t pastors be focusing on teaching Bible prophecy on a regular basis? Just give me the real meat, already. I believe the rapture because if I wake up thinking Jesus may pluck me out of my existence at any moment, then its just one more reason to devote my moments here to Christ. Its just another reason to fear God (in a good way because he is so Holy).

I am Anglican (NOT Episcopalian), and I cannot see why ANYONE who believes scripture to be inspired can fail to believe in the rapture of the Church as separate from the return of Christ in Rev 19.
Another interesting point about the quarantine happening now:
In the past, the idea of the rapture troubled me a tiny bit, because *if the world was carrying on like normal,* the sudden disappearance of millions around the world would cause many tragedies. (Planes without pilots falling from the sky, driverless cars crashing, etc...)
This quarantine seems like something God would prepare as part of the solution to this. It will minimize the number of accidents and many of the dangers to those left behind when we are caught up.

What about those who have died “In Christ” before the church age?
Several years ago, when I was a Roman Catholic, I was at a service where the priest tried to use the argument that there was no rapture because the word rapture didn't appear in scripture, but neither is the word trinity, but he never discussed that!
Also, the word "Bible" is not in the Bible.
The Catholics have no knowledge of Scripture because most of them do not read their Bible. They believe the lies of the priests and just believe whatever they are told. They pray to Mary (idolatry) who is dead, they think the pope is "holy," which he is a demon, and they call priests "father," which is forbidden in Matthew 23:9. I'm go happy to hear you believe the truth of the rapture.... See you in the clouds soon.
Mark, the Romans (RCC) translated “Rapture” as “Rapturo.” The New Testament written in Greek translates “Rapture” as “Harpazo” and refers to the speedy catching away of the Body of Christ/ Church out of this world. 🎺 ⛅️ 🕊 🙌🏻 👑

Just found this on youtube and this teaching is so plain and clear. You are doing an excellent job of teaching in a clear way to understand. I was always taught this way about the rapture and when i read the bible and all the scriptures that tell about the rapture i understand it plainly. I just dont see how anyone can even say there is a mid-trib or a post-trib when the word of God makes it so plain to see. I am so excited about the rapture of the church and can see that this is the generation who will see him coming in the clouds because never in history would it have made sence as it does today! My soul is so grateful
One thing that seems weird to me is that we get our new bodies after the rapture, then we come back to earth for the 1000 reign of Christ ... and live among regular humans who are still marrying and having babies ... and dying. We'll be walking through walls and not marrying, while they're living like we do now. It's so odd.

My thirty year old son is not a believer, and it's freaky to think if he survives the 7 year trib as a new believer and has chlidren, I'll be a grandmother who never ages, and I'll see 1000 years of my lineage, if they also marry and have children! I know for certain that we are not appointed for wrath, but tribulation I’m unsure yet. In the meantime the Holy Spirit reveals this, I want to be prepared for both scenarios. Bless you! 🙏🕊️😇
@@samsamsam82 I hear you! We in the west have had it easy for so long, hey. Several countries are dreadful places to be a Christian today. I have also thought as you stated, but then if that followed through, all the Christians in Christendom, from the Georgian period (Jane Austen's time) through to the 1950's ... what of true believers then!
That was a long period of no hard Christian persecution.
We are not appointed to God's wrath, and we are to "comfort one another with these words." They _were_ suffering under man's wrath, but it was a comfort to them that they would not suffer God's wrath.
I know what you mean, however, that you want to be prepared for whatever tribulation may come. My son refuses to have anything to do with me, because I could not lie and tell him that gay ... things are not a sin, when he pressed me for an answer. My favourite aunt is on his side and just mocked me at a family gathering by pretending to be terrified of me when she said sh*t.
These kinds of things strengthen our resolve to withstand harsher persecution, as much as they break our heart. Because it's really Jesus they hate, first. xo

We're not seeing a focus on the tribulation, rapture, or end-times Bible prophecy in the Christian churches today, but give it a minute. With events starting to heat up in frequency and intensity, I think the church is about to be jolted awake. When that happens, the church won't be able to shut up about Bible prophecy. We'll be hearing about it all the time; not only in the churches, but all through our society. That will probably trigger the end-time re-awakening.
We can hope that is the case!!

Wouldn't there be a world wide panic after the rapture? I ask this because I would think that all children and the mental handicap would taken as well as the church, right? A lot of unbelievers would go crazy seeing their kids sudden disappear.
exactly then the governments will say they were taken by aliens which will cause the people on earth to think that the 2nd coming is aliens thats why they will fight against christ 2nd coming when it happens...

When Jesus comes back, the children will be resurrected and meet Jesus in the air. It will happen after the tribulation but before the wrath. It is exactly true the children will not face God's wrath, but will endure tribulation while on earth.
Then explain how Isiah 57:1 says they will be gone before the wrath. Wrath and tribulation are the same word. Departure and falling away were the same word when it was translated.
I believe that the dead will be resurrected, with glorified bodies, but those who are alive will be glorified and caught up alive.

@Mark Prowatzke Yes it is the same thing. Jesus' 2nd coming NOT to earth is to Rapture His Church. When Jesus comes to the Earth, it is called the Day of the Lord.

Michael Wall actually there is. Just have to dig deeper into translation. The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse used the word rapturo. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.

Okay, this series you just started is an answer to prayer, somewhat. Some of the questions I had were cleared up while some comments made caused more questions. I realize this is part one so I am writing my questions and issues down, hoping most will be cleared up in future teaching on this topic. As a Spirit Filled Christian now I can tell all who disagree between Rapture & Second Coming is Jesus will only return in clouds when He returns4Beluevers, in Second Coming He will come w/His Angels to defeat AntiChrist & stand on the Mount of Olives!!
