I figured out the issues with adding the tires without having to add extra boards and put them lower on the one side. You have to rotate the tires and look at the base the tire is attached to. You want to make sure they are angled inward on each side. At 4:11 of the video you can see how your top left one is facing out whereas the top right tire is facing in as it should. ;)
Ahhhhh.... I knew rotating helped with fit, but i didnt make the connection that would also help free up space for another build! thank you so much for posting this...comment pinned :)
Videos like this is what it's about. Lego fortnite is amazing and you guys are showing us more than we thought possible. Reignited something in me, taking me back many years making me feel like a kid again, with my kids.
And THATS what it's all about. I love hearing parents and kids coming together around game time :)). When mine were younger we loved the Wii, Mario party 8, Mario kart, super mario bros...yeah lots of laughs with that one lol. Thanks for the post, happy gaming :)
thanx i built mine diff to incorporate the actual engine needed in survival, but the vehicle platform is what i was doing wrong the whole time thats why mine never worked. One thing I learned you might like is teh tires will fit you just have to rotate them the base of power tires have a flat and point end face flat end inwards and rotate they fit fine.
ive had that happen with many of my builds and its super frustrating! the best advice i have if youre having this issue is build the floors first, then add the tires last. another thing to look out for, is if a build connects the moving carriage to any stationary floor or railing that will also pop the tires. thanks for posting this, many people are having similar issues :(
I've had this happen once where going to lobby and reloading world fixed it. Another time I had a build a little too close to one of the shaft rails. Even though it wasn't actually touching, the game counted it as touching. Once I broke the build in question, it freed up the elevator. Hope that helps!
thanks for asking! it absolutely requires one in survival, but its not needed in sandbox. i didnt need to put the 2 engines on it, i just did that for appearances :)

Why when I destroy the jack to drop the elevator it stays stuck in place ?what am I doing wrong
