What is the difference between the live lectures and the recorded videos? If i join the course now and I'm planning to take the EE exam in October would the course be until my exam date..
Our live lectures are recorded and uploaded, so that you can watch them in case you cannot attend live. If you sign up for our EE Prep Course, you will have access to notes, videos, and questions until the October 2025 exam date!
I want to sit for the exam on October 2025. I am skeptical about signing up now because I do not want to have any lecture that relates to the old syllables. Please will the class that kicks off in february has any element of the old syllables in it? And what's the exact date in February? Lastly, after february, when do we expect a new class to commence? Thank you.
@Sommy1986 The new syllabus is already up on our website. Just click the June 2025 syllabus document which is on the first tab of the course website once you are enrolled. To answer your question about the new syllabus vs. the old syllabus, the PEBC has published the old syllabus and the new syllabus. The two are identical except that (1) the new syllabus deletes Biomedical Sciences (which previously was 15% of the exam); (2) the new syllabus has Point of Care Testing (which we provide to you as a separate accredited course) and (3) the new syllabus has the topics health equity, social determinants of health, indigenous medicine, and cultural safety and sensitivity -- which we have incorporated as a new chapter. With respect to the start date. the next round of live lectures begins Feb 26th and it is solely based on the new syllabus which applies to the June 2025 exam and onwards..
Yes! You can sign up from Nepal. If you have specific questions about document evaluation, we can do our best to answer them. However, you will have to go through PEBC (pebc.ca/pharmacists/document-evaluation/applying-for-document-evaluation/ ) and Pharmacists' Gateway Canada (www.pharmacistsgatewaycanada.ca/ )to complete your document evaluation.
You can check out our PEBC vs. PharmAchieve syllabus comparison to see what topics are going to be tested: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-jv5L8sNxI6p91Q0tunoDRezj3rGLTVzTfcJT-F8A74/edit?gid=1002219565#gid=1002219565 In general, the exam will be more difficult, so we highly recommend taking a prep course. Our EE course consists of 10 weeks of lectures!
I work in the hospital 12 hours shifts 2 days on and 2 days off so most likely i won't always be available to for when the live courses take place , will i have acces to them later in the day ?
I'm planning to write the exam either october 2025 or January 2026, and i will like to have access to the materials so i can start preparing early. How do i get the materials. Also, I'll like to get the updated materials with the updated syllabus. Thanks.
To access the materials you would need to sign up for the course by visiting pharnachieve.com/register anyone who registers now gets access until the October 2025 exam date. If you need more access than that you can purchase an extension, however, most students need four to six months to prepare and if you started now you would have over 10 months, so it is likely that you would not need an extension to extend it further until the January exam.
The next batch of live lectures begins in February 2025 but you can begin immediately since the moment you register you get access to our notes, videos and questions so you can start studying right away. The videos include the lectures for the current semester as well as the prior semester.
Our EE full course spans 10 weeks and includes live lectures that take place Tuesdays to Thursdays 6:30PM to 8:30PM and Sundays 9AM to 1PM. The semester preparing you for the June 2025 exam will begin in February 2025. However, you can sign up now and get immediate access to notes, videos, and questions!
Canada is a large country with many different time zones. The specific time zone we are referring to is Eastern Standard Time (EST) -- which is the time zone of Toronto and New York for example. One more thing, even though our live lectures spend 10 weeks, you will need more time than that to prepare. This is because our course also has some significant self-study components such as the more than 6,000 practice questions and detailed explanations including in the course. Typical time to prepare is 3 to 6 months.
We would suggest that you sign up immediately since anyone who signs up now has access until October. This would give you immediate access to the notes, videos and questions. In general, the exam covers a lot of material so it's best to give yourself as much time as possible to absorb it all.
You can begin at any time. Anyone who starts now has access until October 2025. You can extend further to January with an extension which costs $349.
If I pay now will I have access to the materials that will be released in February too
@@aniebueifeatu8325 Registering now will give you access to notes, videos, and questions until October 2025 including content updates!
