Doing a quick Google it has Ashville aggregates ltd as being wound up on 10th of November 2022 and to be dissolved on 19th of December 2024. Has someone misinterpreted this as a new failure and it's just a planned process . ??
I’ve done work for Ashville in the past. Very clever guy. Very clever business mind on him. There are multiple companies within the group. So I expect it’s not the end of the it’ll just be a company/economical decision. I know a lot of other companies who have multiple LTD companies within a group and often fold one and start another. So I wouldn’t worry too much.
Nice one as my Dad told me if you don't spend it you haven't got to earn it Then how many company's go bust then rise back up from the ashes with a different name Thanks again
I think with TH-cam. You either use it as a hobby, promote your business or you want TH-cam to be your income. I recently had a well known TH-camr do some work for us on a site we have and he let me into bits and bobs with it. One of his sponsors wants a one minute clip of him talking about them, per month and he gets 2.5k for it! He gets free tools just to show them being used on a video. So you can earn well but you need to know which way you want to turn with it as you can easily forget the reasons why you got to where you are in the first place!
You have this wrong mate. Asheville is restructured into several separate businesses - the older form entered into insolvency in 2022 - that is the one which the winding up of has just concluded - all his other businesses are healthy.
I think this has been underway for awhile, that’s why he was having issues with his new car was in wrong company name. He is getting rid of the old lease on the yard. It’s still costing him lots of cash either way.
Ashvilles gone into the hardest industry in the country, in the hardest city in the world for that trade, without using daddies money......Northerners using daddies yards and farms, purchased for 50k in 1980 and using daddies lorries and machinery are hating on the guy. Unless you're first generation self earned wealth you cant criticise Dan. Anyone can make money when dads bought yards for pennies 40 years ago and handed down everything, Dans taken the risks himself. Lorries used up North are no good in central London.
Bet you you had parents and family input, Ashville is from a single parent family with no previous experience in the industry. Ashville is paying London prices, his annual yard rent is 500k alone, if his yard was in your area he could buy a yard for £500k. You're running bent overweight in Transit skips, he is running legal with full R&M from Scania, you're comparing apples with pears pal.
It's a bit like Welderfabber on TH-cam every Saturday, he started on his own about 9 months ago, and keeps buying lots of equipment, so it all needs paying for he does a good job but because his overheads are increasing other people are trying to poach his work probably by undercutting him.
I got Turned away from a site in London as the lorry wasn't FORS gold or silver ashville are operating in a much more different world to yourself by the looks of it. Good video though
@@lewisdownham8338 FORS thats a waste of time ffs made to make a job for the boys that know F/A lol. All you need is Common Sence, very lacking in todays world though,
Everything you said your rite mate i only commented in his last video he got more going out than coming in we the zame as you 5yr old trucks bought a d payed for if they dont go out for a day we dont care
The far to much going out not enough coming in i ve watch him for bout 2 years amazing lad heart breaking couple wagon s work them harder lower running costs
Daniel won't be going nowhere he has too much invested into his Companies, yes he made a bad decision purchasing 5 brand new wagons beginng of last year which now he is older and wiser he has realised that so getting rid of 3 of them but business is business.
Circumstances in business change , its how the circumstances are settled. Sometimes voluntary winding up of a ltd company is the best resolution. Iirc before voluntary winding up Daniel was chasing late invoice payments, many substantial outstanding invoices. Then the freeholder of the yard had an offer from a data centre company, Dan had to find a new yard operating centre (with a railhead). Not cheap. Having been an owner operator muck away 😄around that location 1980>1995 there was loads of work then, no completion £'s kash plenty. I wish Dan and his other ltd companies success. £300 Peugeot partner, thats great i will buy you a pint (of engine oil) 🏁
Every thing you have said in this Blog makes sence, A10 year old vehicle is as good if not better that a new one if you look after it yourself, as Main Stealers are all CON merchants, Lease vehicles are NOT the way to go, thats what has Fucked the job up sign your name and pay a drink you have a new vehicle, a Lease is like a bank loane lol You have got it right Mate ,if you have no work you can park them up and laugh , because you KNOW no one will be coming to take them away lol and they will be there when you do want them, You are doing everthing RIGHT i wish you all the Very Best, Shame you are so far away as i would like to come and shake your hand, I dont NEED to tell you this but All Flash no Cash is NOT the way to go lol. Work to Live NOT live to Work, Cheers.
I don't think you understand the economic climate that has hit us, to run a company of that size there are hundreds of rules that have to be adheard to by law, that costs money, lots of money, intrest rates, rents, fuel ect have all gone through the roof and customers won't keep taking price hikes to cover them. To grow a company you HAVE to keep investing, no other way but to borrow to achive that, and when intrest rates sky rocket you suffer big time, this won't be the first and no way the last big company to suffer or go under this year belive me, stay small get payment in ASAP and don't try getting to the top as quick as possible, it's a long way down. Also don't be fooled by the high end cars and trappings of success they appear to have, it's almost allways paid for via the company on credit or lease and can be taken away just as fast as the empire you work hard to build. Ashvile have many irons in the fire so don't think it's the end for him, it will be though for some of his employes.
You are correct about showing off. Buying a brand new defender customised

You have a valid point: Being flashy and having the latest gizmos is a waste of cash. Batten down the hatches and weather the storm.

Very true
I think he's using it as a tactic to get away from the bad landlord he had previously.
That’s a good idea
