He's now realised that his family never cared about him and if he had the awareness then that he does now, his life would be very different. There’s a lot that resonates. He’s in a committed but unhappy relationship and it’s complicated. It still doesn’t change the facts of me not being valued so I’m now choosing myself just like you read.
I just happened to read your comment and of course you can just ignore my response if you like, but I felt I needed to tell you - this is not the guy for you. Men who start a relationship with you by lying and cheating and telling you they are unhappy in their current relationship but still going home to that women and pretending they never saw you right before - are not worth your time. If you allow him to do it to you now, it sets a precedent for the future that it’s ok to lie and cheat when he is unhappy… the moment you let him go, you release the energy and you are now free for the right man to come along. You must be ready for that though. Clinging to the wrong man, desperately waiting around for him to leave another woman - speaks to your level of self - love. Please remember that other people can only treat us with the level of love we hold for ourselves. Demand more for yourself and you will get it - just not from the wrong people. 🫶
