Gotta admit, even though this is not an orbital flight, i'm still amazed by the amazing engineering work and talent put into this rocket. the sound of the capsule separation, the drogue and main parachutes deploying gave me chills.

@@UniversalStandard Oh common dude, the experience is the whole flight. It's not like you either take a picture or may experience it. You can have both sacrificing a few seconds for a cool memory FOR YOURSELF. Other people get a good impression watching the video of your flight. Pictures on the wall reminding me of cool stuff I did is super important at least to me. We sometimes lose the big picture and these memories remind you that it's all worth it.

Dragon already offers it, it's just way way more expensive. The G-Forces on an orbital reentry are also much harder and the long during in zero-G will require harder training. I think suborbital space tourism will remain attractive for a long time. Maybe even SpaceX will do it on Starship. They kind of already announced it with Earth2Earth flights few years ago.

@@KsNewSpace true but it depends what you want out of It, if you want to go higher and stay longer, you’ve got to go faster to achieve, meaning you’re pulling more g’s and having a hotter reentry, but having even a couple hours in orbit would be incredible and worth much more so the price is understandable, this is basically a low level hop hence the couple minutes of zero g they just scraped the surface

    • @KsNewSpace
