There is a difference between a BB gun and a AirSoft gun, this was an Airlift gun, designed to not break skin. A BB gun is made to kill small creatures and also able to easily break skin with their metal projectiles and higher velocity speeds then the larger, plastic, slower projectile fired from an Airlift gun.
