Very good , yet your steps to make the mould could be improved , you can machine directlly the negative shape on the steell , and jump the sparking part , for that you just have to create your negative in the drawing progam after you copy the lure . Hard job repairing that brocken ejector pin 😉😉 In general your lures are very good 👍👍
Tool steel is an easy repair. I spent a long time working with carbide tooling more complex than this and that is a nightmare to repair/replace due to how long it takes to make anything from a blank, especially large carbide die's. Has to sit and de-stress after each wire cut and small pins like that ejector pin need a lot of care taken grinding and polishing to maintain profile, and they are much easier to damage than tool steel.
the tool steel is used for the actual molds. you machine the shape you want out of copper, then plunge that shape into the toolsteel block under spark errosion, this forms a perfect negative in the toolsteel. then machine your reliefs & ejection pin ports into the toolsteel and you are done.

Hello i'm from future
@@wanfauzieramlan230 hi future, I have something to tell you....spy baits suck
wonderful
That cavity in the copper is formed using a sinker? Why do they use copper instead of tool steel?

thanks for that explanation
this is a pretty cool process in it's own, but, I prefer a "handmade" lure. this is too "manufactured" for me.

I've never tried Duo lures. How about sending me a couple dozen so that I might road test them. I promise to send them back when my tests are over. :)

dam a broken ejector pin that's a bitch
Watch out little paint and hardening because the fish fade very easily after 5-6 arrests and useless ...
