      Because Christians are taught not to fight back. Matthew 5:44-46
      But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
      While Christians are fallible people and only do this some of the time, this teaching does have a profound effect in the long run.

    Coming from the biggest muslim country in the world (Indonesia) though not living in Indonesia at the moment, I find your videos enlightening. There are things about Islam that I didn't know when I was still a muslim. Even though I had a Quran tutor coming twice a week to teach me and learned the religion at school (In Indonesia, religion is one of the compulsory subjects taught from kindergarten to high school), no one talked about slavery or child bride. I left the religion years ago simply because I didn't like the women's rights in the religion. That alone had made me leave it.
    Even though there's no punishment for apostasy, but the punishment comes from the family and society, such as being kicked out from family and society, alienated, etc. There's blasphemy law that has been used many times by the majority to persecute the minority. Maybe this kind of news is hardly heard by people outside Indonesia but there are many cases of religious persecution in Indonesia, and getting more frequent. Our indigenous cultures have been eroded because these are considered un-Islamic.
    There are ex-muslims in Indonesia but it's just impossible to come out. Most of them live a double life. So the voice of ex-muslims especially ex-muslim women like you really mean a lot. I hope the ex-muslim movement in West will reach Indonesia soon. So please keep making videos, Mimzy! Thank you! ❤❤

      You are right, most Muhammadans have no clue about their cult. Growing up as an ex Muhammadan myself, i didn't know about these absurdities, ridiculous and evils of the cult till i started reading the tafsirs and hadiths. The Muhammedan cult builds a wall around the minds of its folowers through years of strict indoctrination from infancy. Few days ago, i asked a friend of mine who is still a Muhammadan, why did Allah destined Muhammad's parents, grand parents and his uncle Abu Talib(Father of Shia's Ali) for hell? Because according Mohammed, before Allah creates you, he has already destined if you are for heaven or hell. Infact, he Muhammad in an hadith said his father is in hell. Muhammad himself grew up worshiping pagan idols. He said he used to sacrifice animals for the idol Al Manat who he mentioned in the Koran. Once you start reading the tafsirs and hadiths critically, it becomes difficult to make sense out of all these nonsenses of the Muhammedan cult. It think its sad because 14000 years ago, some people back then were able to see through Muhammad's fraud. People like his wives Aisha and Hafsa who were known to be thorns in his flesh. There were also many others who left and became the first ex Muhammadans or converted to Christianity. As Shanbaa Bint AlKalbi who he engaged to marry, told him to his face, "If you are really a prophet of God, he wouldn't have killed your infant son". He broke up the engagement after that. This was after the death of his son Ibrahim with his slave Maria the Copt who he didn't marry. Did you know that he was caught by Hafsa raping Maria in their matrimonial bed? He begged her not tell Aisha, which she did. They confronted him, and that's when he claimed to have received a revelation that Allah says its ok for him to have sex with his slaves who he hasn't married. Aisha said, "It looks like your God hastens to fulfill your wishes and desires". Do you know about Jamila who offered herself to him for marriage but her family chastised her when they said "Don't you know that he is a womanizer?". If people 1400 years ago were able to see thru this man's bullshits, its sad that Muhammadans in this 21st century who are far better than Muhammad cannot see his fraud. I recommend you watch a true life documentary on how brainwashing can happen to anyone called HOLY HELL. I think its on TH-cam too.

Your videos push people to think and question their fundamental beliefs, which is why some Muslims have negative reactions to your videos. Please treat this as a good thing. Keksi The definition of faith is a complete trust that can not be backed up with evidence. Atheism is simply a lack of belief in a deity. Hence your definition of atheism is wrong.

    • @ahmedharris7148
      @ahmedharris7148 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tanja Van Kessel I think theists will argue that there are sound deductive arguments for the existence of God in addition to empirical ones (which is what classical theology is based upon). At least that is the basis of my beliefs. Faith is the extra leap that I choose to take. I think atheists too take a leap of faith when asserting the positive non existence of a creator and the true faithless ones are agnostics.

    • @ahmedharris7148
      @ahmedharris7148 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They don't like it up em I don't want to sound too pedantic but I think you meant to say that they are two separate outlooks concerning the same issue (in the context of truth claims regarding the existence of a creator). It's a point I raised to illustrate the role of faith in theism and atheism in contrast to agnosticism.

    • @tanjavankessel2548
      @tanjavankessel2548 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ahmed Harris That’s fine for you Ahmed, I appreciate your honesty. However regarding your remark about atheists: it’s impossible to prove that something doesn’t exist. An atheist can’t prove that god doesn’t exist, just like a theist can’t prove that a unicorn doesn’t exist. The burden of proof is on the one who make the positive statement.

    • @popularfrontforliberationo8917
      @popularfrontforliberationo8917 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @NAATH KABOOTREE Wrong. You can get something from nothing,. For example vacuum fluctuations and virtual particles demonstrate this. There are also causeless events such as atomic decay that show you can, indeed, get something from nothing and uncaused events. So the claim that you can’t is bollocks. Also if you can’t get something from nothing, this argument would also apply to god meaning that you’d need an infinite amount of godly regression with each god being caused by a previous god forever, which is just stupid frankly.

    It is common for Muslims to criticise Christianity. They criticise the trinity. They say the bible is corrupted. They denigrate Paul of Tarsus, Christianity's greatest saint and most influential New Testament writer. It is common for Muslims to denigrate paganism, and polytheism, and use of idols in worship. This is not to say there weren't coercive campaigns (conversion of Transoxiana, etc). Ideology certainly player a factor but material ones did as well (geopolitics, culture, economics), etc.

    As a devout Muslim, I feel there's problems within the Muslim community and Ex Muslims should have the right to have their voices heard and have input in the community. I do however take issue with the fact Ex Muslims are so willing to be used as a tool for the Alt right to further a political agenda, that in many ways stands to alienate and discriminate against your own friends and family. If I could try to empathize with you guys even if I left Islam I would still wish the best and have respect for the Muslim community, as it represents my up bringing and the ideology and belief system of my closest friends and family. So I would take issue with being a pawn for groups who hate Islam and the community I came from as a whole. It's unfortunate that most ex Muslims I have met don't think that way and quite frankly are completely negative.

    In my opinion criticizing gay people for their beliefs is not homophobic. LGBT people are not sacred cows. As a LGBT person myself I feel the word 'homophobia' is often overused. It should refer to insults, threats, discrimination or unequal opportunities. The same goes for Islam. Islam as a set of beliefs is open to criticism. Criticizing Muslims for their beliefs is not Islamophobic. Insults, threats, discrimination or unequal opportunities only because someone is Muslim is.

Also, you keep having the same pattern of connecting 21st century connotations with Islam, which is understandable but incorrect. This video is more respectful than your other video though, so I'm glad that you understand the difference between being critical and not understanding certain things vs being plain rude.

      @@jaidquraishi4803 You can question and give critique of anything, while also being respectful.
      Saying "It doesn't make sense why the Prophet drinks water with his right hand" is okay vs "It doesn't make sense why the Prophet drinks water with his right hand, he's a weirdo and a wackjob for telling people to do so" is not okay
      So, to reiterate, you can be critical (not insulting, those are 2 different things) and be respectful.

      @@sooo1234-r1n The latter isn't criticism it's just an observation. If I said Muhammad married a child and that's such a horrendous thing to do, especially from someone who is claimed to be the best of mankind. Such an act is paedophilia. That's strictly a criticism based on factual judgement, however many Muslims would say it's being disrespectful or offensive. That's why criticism with respect doesn't make any sense.

    • @sooo1234-r1n
      @sooo1234-r1n 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaidquraishi4803 Particularly in this circumstance your referencing to, you making an observation of the prophet marrying a "child" should not jump to naming him a pedophile. It stops being just an observation, and becomes an accusation when you've made your deduction. Naming a person a pedophile is a very serious thing, also being completely a horrendous act. However, that's again another western connotation on Islam that leads to misunderstandings and misinterpretation. I commented on this particular topic already on this young women's other video on why she left Islam. Read it when time allows.

    • @sooo1234-r1n
      @sooo1234-r1n 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Additionally, factual judgement relies on actual facts and like I said, your deduction is not an observation, and therefore not actual respectful criticism. In simple terms, saying "The prophet married a child, that is strange. Is it not okay to marry children (based on this persons western definition of child) Why is that?" Vs "the prophet married a child?! That is absolutely disgusting and horrifying, what kind of religion allows such a degrading atrocity!"

    Mimzi I think the point is that in modern society the fundamental issue is free speach. So we can speak about everything, we can ask, critisize, we can be right and also we can be wrong. We can change our minds. We can decide. Nothing should dtopbor hold us, especially fear. Without free speach there is no progress.

    • @kyoungd
      @kyoungd 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. In America, the freedom of speech is the first right expressed by the Bill of Rights. Our founders knew how important it was to progress. Unfortunately, we fell short of our ideals, but that is another story.

    Can any Muhammadan explain why Allah destined Muhammad to be born an idol worshiper. He said he used to sacrifice animals to the idol Al Manat. If Muhammad is Allah's favorite prophet, why did Allah destined his parents, grandparents and his uncle who took care of him(Ali's father Abu Talib) for hell? According to Mohammed himself, his father is in hell. Muhammad says in an hadith that, Allah destines if you are going to heaven or hell before he even creates you. So why should he do that to his beloved Muhammad? What's the point? Pls, i just want Muhammadans to help us make sense out of this nonsense.

      Hi, I'm not going to claim I know the answers to all your questions because I don't lol. But Allah does not predestine where you are going after death. We are not meant to pass judgement on others at all because we don't know anybodies fate. For example this lady gives quite a bad impression of Islam so if this is the only exposure you have to Islam then its believed that you haven't seen the true representation of the religion so you may not be held accountable for rejecting the religion. You have the free will to do whatever action you choose but Allah being the All Knowing knows what you are going to do. Your fate is up to you, but God knows what action you're going to take. Bit of a muddled response but I saw your question and I'm rushing lol so sorry for my lack of clarity.

      @@Acehood-pg1zs Sorry, i don't know where you got that from, but Allah has destined our fate. That's the meaning of DESTINY. As Muhammad himself said, his father is in hell because whoever Allah has destined for hell or heaven does exactly things meant for that. He meant his father was destined for hell, hence his pagan idol worship. Infact there is an hadith where Muhammad claimed he went to heaven and saw Adam arguing with Moses. Moses was blaming Adam for the original sin but Adam told him he can't blame him for something Allah already destined would happen even before he created him. There is no free will in Islam.
