I was hoping the Invasion of Sicily but some said Operation Torch. That actually sounds more likely as a lot of both American and Vichy French assets are already in the game due to Chapters 1 and 2.
There are only 2 scenerio I can guess. 1. Operation Compass in 1940 where Royal Navy open fire along the coastline where Italian force in Sidi Barani is stationed. And.... 2. Operation Husky, Allied invasion of Sicily Island.
HERE IS THE SOLUTION : - Firstly, the boxes, in front, are german ammo boxes from Post-Scriptum : benoith.artstation.com/projects/Llk1K - Secondly, the boat is the USS Nevada (BB-36) : i.pinimg.com/originals/ef/bc/3b/efbc3b61a2436c7c8751ce07e8326257.jpg, a US warship. - Thirdly, this ship was used in 2 landing operations : Operation Overlord (Normandy) and Operation Dragoon (Provence) and it is mainly known for its support fire in Operation Dragoon. - Fourthly, there is no barrage balloon in the sky, which were legions during Operation Overlord but you can't see once during Operation Dragoon. So my conclusion is that Chapter 3 will not be in Pacific, in Italy or in Africa, it could be in Normandy but it has more chances to be in Provence, where americans and frenchies (!!) landed. And remember, Periscope is a french company ^^
That ship is the USS Nevada, and Judging by the crates, they seem to have the Nazi crest on them, which rules out Iwo Jima. The only place that Nevada shelled in Europe was Southern France during "Operation Dragoon" when the Allies landed there. This seems logical because Post Sciptum is a game about the battles that fall between the cracks of bigger operations, like how "Operation Market Garden" was sort of a P.S. to D-Day. I was thinking before the Chapter II teaser came out, that "Operation Dragoon" was going to be the next Operation in Post Scriptum, so glad to see it's here.

I think that Chapter 3 is Normandy, Sword Beach. The silhouette of the warship firing the ship was thought to be a Revenge-class battleship, and HMS Ramillies was there.
This is definitely a warship opening fire. The configuration of the towers as well as the crane is very close to the silhouette of the USS Pennsylvania, which supported many landings during the Pacific war. I would thus suggest this is a pacific war theater.
I'm afraid it's a rather generic Battleship configuration. Plus the fact that those two boxes on the left have Eagles on them. Definitely not the climate for the Pacific.

But since its a teaser it will probably take a while longer, and that's completely find. Take your time devs and make the content good. I hope this won't be rushed just to keep up the paste from chapter 2

Climate/Beach doesn't look right for Africa, plus no other naval invasions took place besides Operation Torch that would warrant such a large operation. The boxes on the beach also depict an Eagle, so we're most definitely not in the Pacific.

It's sand like terrain a trench on an elevated place (maybe cliff) and a ship is fireing (100% it's an allied landing) buth were... Edit:Wermacht boxes in the trenches (it doesn't mean much becouse on Dinant there are boxes of MP40 ammo at the church so it is possible that they are just placeholders)
This is exiting and all, but lets not let that distract you from the fact that 70% of the playerbase on PS still does not use a microphone or communicate.
It looks like a V class British destroyer and anti submarine patrol vessel shelling the coast, in my speculations i assume the artillery on that ship could possibly be used for artillery strikes or you can physically use it, the trench is clearly German if you compare it to any other trenches in Russia. The boxes do have German writing on it and the grass color contrast looks way to flourished and alive for it to be in a African setting so i must asume this is one of the beaches in Normandy or even possibly southern Italy.

There was no warship bigger then a destroyer involved in the battle of dunkirk and since there were no naval bombardements this should not be Dunkirk.

Just throwing out a clue. If the sun is correctly modeled, the ship is East/West, not North/South. And since it’s probably morning I would hypothesize it’s East. So what beach assault was from the East?
It's sand like terrain a trench on an elevated place (maybe cliff) and a ship is fireing (100% it's an allied landing) buth were...
Edit:Wermacht boxes in the trenches (it doesn't mean much becouse on Dinant there are boxes of MP40 ammo at the church so it is possible that they are just placeholders)

It looks like a V class British destroyer and anti submarine patrol vessel shelling the coast, in my speculations i assume the artillery on that ship could possibly be used for artillery strikes or you can physically use it, the trench is clearly German if you compare it to any other trenches in Russia. The boxes do have German writing on it and the grass color contrast looks way to flourished and alive for it to be in a African setting so i must asume this is one of the beaches in Normandy or even possibly southern Italy.
Not,it looks more like Nevada class Battleship of US Navy.

Yeah, Hell Let Loose was just not what I wanted out of a WW2 Game, If I just want to shoot WW2 Guns I'll Play Call of Dooty or the New Battlefield, but if I want Combined Arms and Logistics I'll do Post Scriptum.

Guys, know what would be awesome? Noone ever made this... Yugo Partisans... NOONE, literally NOONE ever captured that part of the war in a ww2 game. Imagine the guerilla warfare possibilities in the game in the Balkans.
Codename: Panzer Phase Two did capture the fight from the Yugoslavian Partisan.
But you're right. Yugoslavian Partisan and Greek army are the factions that seems to be forgotten most of the time when WW2 topic is brought up.
I hope Dday. The Immersiveness ,visuals and audio of PS would take it to a whole other level than any other game.
And 40v40 is a lot better than other games in the industry. The scale of the invasion isn't conveyed well without sufficient players.

I don't believe its the Schleswig-Holstein due to the fact that it only has one smoke stack while the ship you mentioned had 2

ok so after a little research i have found out a little info of what we can see in this teaser.
number 1: the battleship in the background seems like its the uss nevada before its refit which removed the tripod masts and replaced its 8 4inch guns with 8 5inch dp guns.
number 2: nevada was mostly serving as convoy support but since its refit was completed in october 1942 it seems logical that the island we see in the foreground is most likely a beach on attu.
