Just ordered a Agilite K19-plate-carrier and I was wondering how I would place my HRT placard onto the front... This is perfect. I think the first spear axl adapter might be the one I need. Great vid
Good question. I got just got the K19 and an AXL Velcro loop adapter with some generic swift clip buckles looks like it’s going to work. Which route did you go with your K19?
@@SirLovestain The Axl adapter worked good, if you get kne make sure you get the one for crye carriers... they match up with the Agilite. The HRT placard mounted perfect.
@6:40 you mention putting the quick release buckles on the tabs - did you mean the vertical molle strips that are already on the plate bag? A lot of the placards have vertical adjustment on the clips, so it seems like maybe you might not need the AXL adapter?
sweeeeet, I've never even heard of this adaptor, thanks for doing a review on it. I was about to get that velcro patch holder panel that first spear makes and universal buckles that loop into MOLLE to mount a placard on my strandhogg. This is nearly double the cost of that solution, do the benefits of the AXL adaptor justify the cost in your opinion?
Because I was thinking about getting just buckles that I can attach to the vertical Mollie loops on the kit but I don't know if it would sit too high if I did that
It will fit but won’t ride at the correct height. This issue is mostly cosmetic. I do think that the AXL kit with the added features makes it worth while to fix though.
Compatible, yes. Ride height is far from optimized but if that isn’t an issue for you then that is great. It’s also ~$60 and adds some routing capabilities as well as better G-Hook placement.
10/10. Got to the point, showed and informed me just what I needed to know and nothing I didn't. Well done man.
Thanks dawg, I’m always worried about being too long winded.
Sounds like AXL is up and coming, I hope they start making components specifically for the US Army issued MSV armor soon.
They will make literally anything you need my man. Hit them up.

No operating here but I am a huge fan of their work.

Happy to help!
Did the first spear axl work out for you?

@@NOBSBOURBON I did the AXL crye adapter with the HRT placard... perfect combo
Thanks for this video. Super helpful for my First Spear vest.

Those vertical molle strips you’re referring to are not wide enough to fit a QASM buckle.
They are. There is very little load actually on the webbing and that fits in a split bar buckle just fine.
@@EODFish the ones on my AVS are about half an inch wide, I put a split bar on them and they are most certainly not secure
Great video 👍!
Wow, just what I needed.

It is so clean, custom fit and minimalist. Plus the little added features, I really think so.
Can you please make a video on how to put on the AXL on the Strandhogg PC?
That was a strandhogg in the video. Which part is giving you problems?
How well does the spiritus fit on the cryer plate without the placard if I just got the buckles
I’m a bit lost on your question. Are you asking about the spiritus on an AVS without the AXL kit?

@@EODFish awesome thanks
Would the crye adapter fix the height issue with the SPC?
It should but they make an SPC specific adaptor.
EOD Fish awesome thx for the reply 👍🏼
Outstanding gear reviews!
Thanks!
And will the hrt maximums placard fit in the buckles?
Probably but no experience with that placard.
Review the abu strandhogg next. I’m about to grab one just like it and try to dye it.
Right on man. I’ll see what I can do.
Can I put this on my Agilite K19 plate carrier?
No idea, I haven’t been able to trade for a K19 yet.
Ok, thanks for replying.
Would this work on a swimmer cut avs?
No idea man. I’ll have to check with a swimmer JPC.
@@EODFish Cool thanks bro
Good vid g
Thanks man.
Will that work with Agilite plate carrier
No idea man. You’d have to be more specific.
the avs is Placard compatible without this. youre basically paying 90 bucks for nothing
